The only problem with that is I can't think of any characters who appeared in that storyline that don't already have cards, apart from Hope (obviously) and the Phoenix 5 (though wasn't Cyclops already in Secret Wars?) I suppose that's enough for a small box expansion though.
I like Messiah Complex except for having to reshuffle the decks constantly from Clone effects. (I had a game with Stepford Children in the HQ and Sinister Clones as a villain and I lost count of how many times I had to shuffle the HQ and villain decks.)
Hey Dice Tower Peeps... was hoping to see some episodes by season and don't see playlists based on season or year. That would be so cool for me to carch up on other older episodes
Messiah Complex takes place after House of M, where almost every mutant is more or less gone, with less than 200 existing. It begins with the discovery of a new mutant baby being born and everyone trying to take it for their own ends. It's good overall. I have it on my shelf, but I never played the game overall and each time I hear about the new keywords, I feel lost.
It would have been weird to have Hope Summers in this set because she was a baby in the storyline.
Worth it to me just to have X-Factor characters.
Hopefully the lack of Hope Summers means we are getting her in a Phoenix 5/Avengers VS X-Men pack one day. That would be so awesome.

Does anyone know which set Hope Summers is in?
Currently none, but hopefully Avengers VS X-Men and/or Phoenix 5 one day

You could try just the base game first, it's not very complicated without any expansions.
