Both my local retro trade shops clean and refurbish their games and consoles at no extra cost. DKoldies charge you a huge amount for the service and actually dont clean or refurbish anything, please see multiple youtube videos. Scammers and Thieves, deserve to be shut down and shamed.

I have ordered from Lukiegames twice now, and nothing bad to say about them. The fact that Lukie gamea has been around longer than Dk Oldies and has better prices... says alot. I have bought at least 40+ ps2 games from Lukiegames and maybe 1 or 2 were iffy on the case. As far as disc's I never had an issue and everyone was clean looking! Originally I was stacking my cart on Dk Oldies then did the same on Lukies and ended up with ALOT more games for the price I was wanting to put down. I always do my research, but I didn't want to go through 10 different ebay sellers for my nostalgia games.

They are great, but some of their items are over priced, but sometimes you might get something that’s cheaper, and they have a great rewards system, and great customer service as well.
Everything besides Nintendo and very high demand and "hidden gem" games is very cheap though. Bare minimum for some stuff is like $2-30 from them. However they do keep with the times and prices flux according with game releases. Saints Row 2, Dead Space 1, and every GOW game got a markup when those games had reveals or releases.

Lukie is a hit or miss depending on what your buying like playstation and sega is pretty solid, it's the nintendo games are the only meh part, but they do have good customer service just wouldn't buy certain things (like smash melee for 90 dollars which is absurd) I've bought stuff and it works well and it's clean but some are the prices are terrible

The only people who get scammed are ones that don’t realize it. For example, you might get a fake Pokémon game listed as authentic and not notice it until it’s too late if you don’t open it and examine it when you get it. Often the seller doesn’t know it’s fake, which is still their fault and within the return rights. Majority of the fakes I’ve seen are listed as reproduction carts, not authentic.
Both sites are insanely over priced especially for consoles. About 2 years ago I bought an original Xbox from my local retro game store for 50 dollars CDN. It came with 90 day warranty. I also got to pick between the S-Controller and the Duke Controller. The last time I saw one there it was up to 60 dollars. I have bought games from both sites in the past but mostly cheap sports games but no dinger games like the Zelda games or any consoles. Those I will buy like you suggested on ebay or locally.
