camped several times at leonard harrison in the late 70's early 80's when the trains were still running up the canyon. enjoyed some good fly fishing on Pine creek.
This is the nicest part of Pennsylvania. Drive through the state forest you will view the . Enjoy this part of the state. The Grand Canyon is in that part of the state.
Needs an up date...wellsboro is rich in history. I want to learn the most I can about my home town I currently live in a house which is on the property of the first house in wellsboro it's gone virtually untouched since it's construction one step inside and you feel the history there are many books also talking about the Indians on the property and how the family for some reason protected them. I have tons of letters from the 1900s pictures of pearl Harbor no one has ever seen pictures of what I believe to be (penny and the white horse) documents state that no record of photos were found of her and the horse I actually happen to have one of the pictures and it's taken on the property I live on also found a book that told a story about a battle on the north side of the property and being attacked from the base of the hill.. the surrounding area is rich in history this needs to be updated so bad there is no information about wellsboro or anything for that matter past the video you made
I was also curious to why the Seneca Indians were not mentioned. Before the colonizers forced them out to build the railroad tracks and over-harvest the forest it was their home. Thats an important part of the PA Grand Canyons history!

The latest barrage of nature rapers are the legions of frackers who have inundated the area.
