That said, I'll be taking a few days off working on these to take care of personal matter. I will be back editing stuff next week on monday! Only exception would be the Skyrim VR thing, which I'm super excited about working on.
Shoutout to Chase_Yojimbo in chat! I grew up playing D&D 3.5 with my dad who started play ing with an OG 1e red box. In the last 15 years of almost purely DMing I've come to the same conclusion when it comes to handling problem players and settings in general. Blow their socks off with the sandbox you provide and grab the good players with a compelling hook, plot and setting then watch the power/meta gamer struggle to ruin everyone else's fun. I swear I've watched players realize how they fucked the entire table out of a much better time than their impulsive ego-trip entailed. Feels good when people learn to respect the communal story more than their own flash-in-the-pan desires.
