Great choice on the tots! My dad calls tater tots ‘the food of the Gods,’ and Berry’s tots live up to the name!
Berry’s was our first Vegas steakhouse, and so far none can compare.

Ditto to the below comments by Brandon. In addition, those ravioli (aka: pillows from heaven) looked like something I'd want to have as my entree !!! Love the surf and turf as I am a scallop lover, but as you said, the rib cap stole the show and rightly so ! Cheers and keep discovering great eateries enjoying the fun as you go !!! M.

Looks amazing! We will try when downtown. You both appeared to be a bit tipsy (in a cute way) but great review regardless. I must say that 4 of us ordered the rib cap at Oscars, all medium rare, & there were some inconsistencies in the steak’s tenderness. My son-in-law is the type to finish off everyone’s steak when we can’t eat it all, and this is when he commented that some cuts were more tender than others. I even noticed that 2 were not as eye appealing as the other 2. Ok, I must have missed something - where is this Winnie & Ethel’s … my hubby appreciates a good chicken fried steak. Happy New Year! Always look forward to your Vegas content.
We were definitely in a celebratory mood this trip...Yes we had one at Oscars off camera about 2 years ago and it was awful sadly. It was charred to the point of jerky somehow. That is why we have not done a video there, and our service was pretty poor. Maybe someday we will return but not in a rush to do so. Winnie and Ethels is a mile to mile and a half from Circa, in the Huntridge area - it was so good we highly recommend the chicken fried steak! Let us know if you go. Happy New Year
Howdy Ho! The girth of the meat is always something to consider they say lol . I definitely liked the look and ambiance of this place . I am always in favor of the darker lighting as well . I’d order the ravioli for sure and I love scallops so I’d go with that and the filet. Another restaurant I have to add to my enormous list . Fun video as always 😎😎😎

I had the rip cap at Barry’s last night and couldn’t agree more on how fabulous it was. I too was concerned on the cooking temp but the fat and the fact that they marinated it made it work to perfection. I know it is overplayed but their lobster mac & cheese is next level. Glad you enjoyed your meal! Oh we also went to Winnie & Ethel based solely on your recommendation and it was phenomenal. Best country fried steak I’ve had!

haha Kyle that is awesome and yes we agree with you! The Kings Drink was good and do recommend if you like Whiskey drinks. It was Peanut Butter Whiskey, Banana Oleo Saccharum, Sweet Vermouth, and Chocolate Bitters

It's been awhile since I was in Vegas but we started going there before both of you guys were born. I was hoping to give you a video idea if you are up to it.
You guys like to eat in fine dining places like my wife and I do. Was wondering if you could compile a list or video of fine dining restaurants where they don't have blaring music where it is more cozy and intimate. Appreciate the video and hopefully if we're lucky we will run in to you guys and take you out for a bite. Good work and good luck.
That is a great idea honestly. We would need to remember all the places so might not be great at it now, but will definitely try to point it out in the future, because we have been overwhelmed this past year with way too loud
The totatoes better than Joseph Rubentons? We really liked Barrys. The first visit was better than the second, that's for sure. But still good. Ummmmm.....bad rib cap downtown.....does it start with a "O" and ends with disappointment and confusion on how people think it's God's gift.....I means a "S"? Definitely gotta do the seafood tower next time, one of the best we've seen in vegas. And o man! Those tots looked delicious! Those are for sure "new" to us on the menu. Great video guys!

@@JoshRachael I didn't think about that good point, I'd feel a little bad for the ones who get stuck with it (but too bad,lol) . I thought maybe they slice it thin and use it for in their Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, but they don't use Ribeye as usual. So maybe grind it for hamburger?

at 2m50s, you should have a nice red wine with the ravioli, I'm trying to help, forget about the designer cocktails with the berries and cherries and elderberry liquors.
The best advice we have gotten about wine is drink what you like and honestly we don’t really like red wine so we have found what we like best, no harm to anyone who wants a bottle of red but it’s just not for us
I had a rib cap once and never went back. It just melted it was so worth the up charge

Yea normally we don't go for something so simple, but they actually hit the spot really well.
LOL!! You can keep all your Japanese A5 wagyu. Give me a USDA prime ribcap, the best tasting cut of beef, in my opinion. Btw, the ribcap should be cooked to a medium temperature. Between Barry's and Oscar's, you can't find a better prepared ribcap.
We actually felt like Oscars went too far with our Ribcap when we went there off camera 2 years ago, might need to return but we had a bad experience with friends so it’s hard to return unfortunately even though lots talk it up
@@JoshRachael Btw, I just saw a restaurant on yelp called "Cleaver." Haven't been there but they have a ny steak with a balsamic and parmesan crust. Sounds quite interesting. They also have a side dish: bourbon shallot potatoes. I'm trying to imagine how that would taste. I'll be checking that place out on my next visit.

There are a lot of things on the menu I don't think I would enjoy. Good to see they have a vegan menu. Think I'd stick to restaurant's at the Boyd Group Hotels, Ellis Island, or Jerry's Nugget.

I noticed that you rarely order a salad to start…the ravioli looked divine. How would you rate Barry’s against Bavette’s?
We tend to not order salads on vacation. We diet a lot while not traveling and definitely get Salad’d out by the time we go in a trip and just want to over indulge.
Bavettes is definitely one we would put in top 5 on the strip and Barry’s is comparable for us. Menu is a bit more diverse than Bavettes whereas Bavettes is more classic
@@JoshRachael got it. Heading back to Bavette’s in April. Barry’s looked great but I’m not a downtown Vegas fan so I don’t think it is worth the trek up. Happy New Year!

It’s hard to stomach those prices! Vegas has got way out of control regarding food costs! You have to search high and low to get decent deal! Ocean One in Planet Hollywood is a good option

We had a great small ceremony with family and a reception 10 days later!
Our reception was every teenagers dream menu - nachos, pizza rolls, pretzels, pigs in a blanket, cookies, cake, and fruit roll ups! Such a special time with our friends and family 💗
They were hesitant to show the prices. Let me show you why (just a few pertinent highlights):
Large Seafood Platter Appetizer: $269‼️
Shrimp cocktail $34 (well, at least it’s not $35!). So much for the $.99 shrimp cocktail of not that yore!
16 oz filet mignon: $109
12 oz Rib Eye: $89
Baked potato: $16
Creamed spinach: $15
Cheesecake: $26
‘Nuff said‼️
