- Las Vegas is known for having such a robust food scene, with a plethora of world-renown restaurants in a variety of different cuisines. From the famous Las Vegas celebrity chef restaurants to the world class Las Vegas buffets. However, everyone knows about the famous Las Vegas steakhouses, and the best steak in Vegas could rival even New York City.
Not only does Vegas have a location of many of the iconic New York steakhouses, but there are also many iconic Las Vegas steakhouses that are unique to Vegas alone. While The Palm Restaurant in Caesar's Palace, SW Steakhouse in the Wynn, and The Steak House in Las Vegas are a few iconic names, The Golden Steer Steakhouse of Las Vegas is perhaps the most iconic of them all.
Golden Steer has a storied history. The connection between The Golden Steer and Frank Sinatra, The Golden Steer and Nat King Cole, The Golden Steer and Marilyn Monroe, The Golden Steer and Dean Martin, and The Golden Steer and Elvis Presley, just to name a few big names associated with this restaurant, are all well known. However, the Golden Steer celebrity associations are not the only reason they are famous, locals and foodies alike contend that they make nothing short of the best steak in Vegas, if not one of the best steaks in the USA and the best steaks in the world!
Let's try arguably the best steakhouse in Las Vegas together!

I was crying laughing when the server asked if he was ok 😂😂😂😂
its painful pleasure
Anal
he has the weirdest faces... squinting. I had to stop watching as he is very odd
My favorite episode because of this!
@@turbokid99He's asian! He can't help it!
I’ve been to the Golden Steer and I tell you the Cesar Salad is so good, fresh and crispy. The French onion soup is mouth watering good. The seafood and sides were excellent. Just know if you get the steak 🥩 you want and lobster 🦞 or crab 🦀 combo, it’s about $200 per person but you will leave happy if you’ve prepared for the cost ahead of time.
And another god knows how much for a tip.
The waiter asking if something was wrong had me 💀 💀 That’s how you know UA was loving it !!
both faces are the same and honestly its a gimmick to make that face 🤡
Its annoying.
All time moment
I Bet the Chicken of the Angel is FIRE! 3:08
When you're die-ing from happiness but people think you're in pain lol
I've seen a half a dozen of your videos. Just discovered you. Your steak videos. Watching you eat is so much fun for some reason. It's like watching a kid in a candy store. It's fun to watch kids enjoy simple pleasures. I love steak. You have a great presence. It's your authenticity and genuine love for food, especially steak. Well done. Keep up the great work.
That bread is from Sysco, lots of restaurants use it. 8 min on the conversation oven and that’s what u get…… garbage
I'd definitely like to go here if I would visit Vegas. Like the old school vibe and the Caesar salad looked mouth-watering.
They have a baked potato that they wheel on a cart with the toppings. Its the size of a Boulder. 12 bucks. Worth it for the show of it. Can feed a few people.
Chicken of The Angels looks so good! 3:08
The filet mignon was incredible!
@@uaeatswent to Vegas yourself?
The amount of BS TH-cam ads was ridiculous. Screwtube.
My favorite Las Vegas restaurant. Never disappoints. So classic retro.
Is the Chicken of The Angels Amazing it looks it on the menu! 3:08
It was excellent!
Top of Binions and Vic and Anthony’s blows it out of the water! Plus if you’re a Vegas local there’s only one place to go, Echo and Rig!
Coming to Vegas for my 50th Birthday. Staying with friends in Henderson. I have requested a night at The Golden Steer. I can't wait!!!
Here is the Golden Steer Caesar Dressing Recipe and Instructions:
Parmesan, Dijon Mustard, Oil, Red Wine Vinegar Pepper, Minced Anchovies, Tabasco, Squeeze of a Lemon, Minced Garlic, (1) Egg Yolk & Worcestershire Sauce
1. Take your mixing bowl & add half of the bottle of dijon mustard, a teaspoon of both minced anchovies & minced garlic
2. Separate the egg & add only the egg yolk
3. Cut a lemon in half widthwise & add 2 squeezes of the lemon
4. Add a hint of red wine vinegar, 2 dabs of tabasco, & 6 dabs of worcestershire
5. Whisk dressing - add the entire bottle of oil gradually while whisking
6. Add half of your container of parmesan cheese (add the rest on top of your salad right before enjoying)
Half of what size jar of Dijon? Half of what size container of parm? What size entire bottle of oil? And how many does this recipe serve?Without these measurements, no one can make this.
@@Soxruleyanksdrool they can’t make it that easy but if you use your adult brain I suggest watching some videos of it being prepared for an idea of sizes if you plan on making it at home.
@adellis24 You don't know, either. Got it. I'll go watch some vids, then.

Thx UA for another terrific video of a real classic steak house in the US! I always enjoy your videos, but I think the steak house reviews are always my favorite! Thx again UA & keep making these great videos!
loving your vids UA. I'm glad you're able to do this full time now. Looking forward to more reviews especially in Vegas.
I gotta say I watch a lot of food and cooking and review channels... And for me this is the best one.
I love your style and personable approach. It makes me feel like I'm right there eating the delicious food while I'm actually eating a bowl of oatmeal.
I appreciate how you don't rush through the videos but it's also not monotonous and repetitive either. Each dish and Each section is given the perfect amount of time. I'm so impressed with the quality of the editing and the style of the reviews. This is my first time seeing the channel but it feels like I'm right at home. Looking forward to more reviews like this one!
Keep up the great work brother.
There are people whom don't like ribeye?! I don't understand. Is it maybe because it's a bit fatty? It's one of the absolute best cuts and tastes good even if it's not prepared well. It's hard to mess it up, unless you overcook it by far. Great review!!
Dog meat
I won’t come within one mile of fat

I've had the Golden Steer Steakhouse on my try list forever when I plan my Vegas trips and I haven't been there, yet and you have just inspired me again to go there. Great review video. You videos are very entertaining and the reviews reveal honest expressions of your opinions.
My grandparent's were cattle ranchers. Sunday was steak night. We would all have either T-bone or Porterhouse. Yum. My mom and I loved the crispy fat parts, and I would drink my plate juices. I was a slow eater at 8 years old, and I would be the last person to leave the table, gnawing on the bone. Good memories ❤😊 Not corn fed beef just grass fed, therefore, no antibiotics needed.
The review I've been waiting for. Thanks UA
Golden Steer published a cookbook some time back and the dressing recipe is in it, Also easily found online. It is indeed a classic!
Thank you!
Your usual background music is a natural fit with the vibe of this place!!🎉
I just subscribed and clicked the notification bell. You’re good natured, have informative content and your “food face” is epic so you earned a new follower. Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the kind words! I love food so I just try to keep it real and say how I'm feeling and don't hold anything back (positive or negative). Appreciate the sub!
Awesome review UA you’re an awesome dude I enjoy all the quality/reminiscent restaurants you review
Great video and keep up the great work as a resident of Vegas for over 12 years now and I have never eaten at this establishment!!! :)- Kudos to you for your video and to the channel!!! :)-
I really like the ambiance and the patrons. Would definitely look it up if I’m in Vegas. Great job UA, keep up the great work :)
Long time lurker first time commenter. So glad you are able to eat there at Golden Steer. That is on my bucket list! Thanks for the video! Hey since you are able to travel more, why not review your hotel stays too? Thanks! Good luck! 😊
You know not a bad idea! I actually did some hotel reviews in the early day of this channel. It would probably only be worth it for nicer hotels, but maybe if I make many trips to Vegas I can stay at a different hotel on the strip every time and review it
Yay! You had my mouth watering the whole time. I am glad you enjoyed it.
love the vid UA, hope you enjoyed ur time out in sin city! looking forward to more NJ and NY vids
I did! I spent most of the trip filming but I made sure to save a day and a half just to relax and enjoy myself. Looking forward to more NYC/NJ reviews once I upload all the Vegas vids

Great video again UA. Must try Golden Steeer next time I am in the U.S from across the pond.
I found SW at the Wynne to be one of the best steaks I had ever had and I have been to all the classics in NYC.
Excellent review. That Caesar salad was perfect. I could tell just by looking at it. So glad you got two cuts. I only wish you had done one side and one dessert. That would have completed a wonderful perfect steakhouse review. But I’m enjoying you more and more !!
So I am currently looking into a Vegas trip, and this is now on my list! I don't gamble, I'm going strictly for restaurants, and this looks amazing! Anything good enough for The Rat Pack is good enough for me! Thanks for another great review UA!
Go to Herbs and Rye instead. Much better than GS
You never win if you never try. Just saying.
That sounds like a really nice trip. I love restaurant hunting, it's hard to beat a good ribeye steak 🥩
@@udman008 I'll have to just do both!
Glad you found the best steakhouse in Vegas, ainec. I get the 24oz thicc NY Steak every time. A little less marbled than the ribeye, but more of the rich beefy flavor. Fantastic.
So kind of you to go to the Bar and not grab a table. That shows your quality as a person and a reviewer.
❤
Love your content, I hope you get all the subs. Enjoy your journey!
Great video UA! I live in Vegas and that is a great choice! Also , you should check out the Steak House at Circus Circus! Their Bone in Rib Eye 24 ounce and their French Onion Soup is great! The rib eye cones with chefs vegetables, house salad and your choice of potatoes. I get the garlic mashed potatoes! It has that old school vibe! 👍
Great video, UA. I think they have table size Service for the Caesar salad. You were wondering what was in the Caesar dressing that made it taste so good. You may or may not have had anchovies in your Caesar salad before. The anchovies make, or break a Caesar salad dressing. If the anchovies aren’t in the Caesar dressing, then something is missing, you will notice that taste that something is off, but you can’t place what it is.
Is the Chicken of The Angels Amazing it looks it on the menu! 3:08
All caesar salad dressing should have anchovies.
As a Chef, If it does Not have Anchovies It is Not Caesar dressing. Hahahahahahahaha 😂!!!
@@markmower6507As a backyard cook, I totally agree. Table side prep is so awesome…zabaglione done table side! As he was in the bar area, no could do.
Hi! I'm Ernest. 1st time viewing and i subbed. I've never been able to go to Vegas. Like to eat. I enjoy you. Looking forward to be a part of your channel.
Bone in Ribeye is the absolute best steak!
For those prices it better be good. Did they change a resort fee?
That place looks so cool. Love the retro look inside and corn fed prime steaks can’t be beat.
It’s on my bucket list when I go to Vegas
Sweet, I used to love going to the Golden Steer when I used to go to Vegas. Their prime rib was usually top tier stuff and I LOVED their lamb chops. However, I will say this much, the prices were much, much cheaper when I used to go in the mid 90s or so lol oh and my friend who used to go with me absolutely destroyed their French onion soup lol
"three-course menu starting Dec. 1 dedicated to the dishes the Chairman on the Board regularly ordered while he when he dined at the restaurant in the 1960s. Frank's Menu, available until Dec. 31, puts guests at Table 22, Sinatra’s regular table with room for four. Guests dine on clams casino baked with white wine, bacon, diced red and yellow peppers and bread crumbs; a 16-ounce New York strip steak with sautéed diced tomatoes, garlic and white wine, served medium rare like he ordered it; bananas Foster served table side flambéd; Jack Daniels served with three fingers of Jack and two ice cubes, as Sinatra ordered it"

UA, love the content. I never close one of your videos and am disappointed. Keep them coming my friend!
The surf and turf there is amazing!
Every element of your meal is ON POINT!
Salivating
Looks like one of those serious old steak houses that toast their own croutons for their salads, the fact that they make the salad at the tableside is always a good sign. I probably would have tried the French onion soup, you can tell a lot about a place from their French onion soup also, and I would have thought they would have had cheesecake or cannolis. This was a great video, nice solid review, thanks and please keep them coming.
Went here with my gf last year after seeing some very impressive reels on Instagram featuring their prime rib and lobster. But sadly we were very disappointed. The prime rib was cooked decently but didn't have much flavour even though we tried drowning it in au jus. The lobser tail was over 80 bucks and was very dry and chewy. Might be because we went pretty late at night, but for a steakhouse in Vegas, we expected a bit more. The cherries jubilee was the best thing we had that night.
You know you did a great job with your review when your vid made me hungry👍👨🍳
I am going here in a few months and got a reservation. I did this directly as a result of this review. Thanks UA!
Now I have to visit this place! Thanks for the detailed video.

You didn’t like the last oily steak so I was def confused why you asked for the garlic butter lol
Because it was recommended by the waiter, and we were under the assumption that the garlic butter will be a side that you put on the steak yourself, not something thats on the whole thing.
Absolutely Delicious ❤🤤❤

Great video as always UA. I've been binge watching your steak videos. What would you say your top 5 steaks of all time are? I'm curious how this compares to Spark's, Delmonico and Gallaghers.
Golden Steer was also an infamous mobster hangout. When you go in, with all of that red velvet, raised leather booths, servers in suits, etc. it does take you back in time, and you can totally picture the scene back in the day. The food was outstanding when my wife and I ate there about 30 years ago (a NY was about $25 or so as I recall).
I didn’t realize this was down the street from me until today, then I literally just saw your video right now. I’m on Desert Inn by the Sphere and am gonna try to stop in one day.
Love your videos man that place was sooo cool no pretentious b.s just good food great job
Steer is amazing! Loved that Cesar salad so much. Classic vibe.
Great video, i love the short random story about the burgers too haha
Nice review UA. I'm really surprised that you don't like prime rib, seeing how much you like rib eye. That's usually my go to. I guess it must be the sear. You seem to be big on that. I'm always hollering at my tv, "try the prime rib, UA, try the prime rib!". I would have gone for the french onion soup also.
First video I've seen where you've eaten someplace I have! And your opinion is the same as mine. Such a top quality old-school place. (I definitely go NY Strip though.)
Great to see this video so I can calibrate your reviews vs mine :)
Looks like this is a ten on the scale. Your reviews are pretty spot on. Great looking steak for sure. ❤
I could be wrong, but to me that didn't look like medium rare. medium maybe!
The ribeye looked medium, filet looked medium rare
So glad you can do this full time now. Love your videos. Ribeye and caesar is one of my favorite meals, looks so good 👍
Hell yeah man. Thank you for the review.
Thanks for this! I will definitely check this place out. Now about that game in Dallas....I want to forget that as well!
A friend of mines father was Frank Sinatra personal chef in Palm Springs and opened a restaurant there in 1976 that is still open today. His son now runs it as the father retired. It is called Johnny Costa's and the signature dish is called Steak Sinatra and I've had it. It is strips of NY Steak with sautee'd mushroom, garlic and bell peppers in a red wine sauce. It was so tender no knife was needed at all. Those steaks you got looked delicious.
All looks delicious! I'm a huge French onion soup fan. I bet it was good there!
The woman sitting next to me ordered it and it looked to die for
@@uaeats oh boy. Now I want some! Lol
Been there many of times. Golden Steer along with Vic and Anthony's are my favorite. Tony Spilotro's headquarters, The Gold Rush , was located right next door
Agree with Vic and Anthony’s. One of the best in town.
I’m so hungry and shouldn’t have watched this, especially the filet mignon part, omg that looks crazy delicious!! 😋💜
I have seen many videos of this amazing steakhouse and it certainly lives up to its reputation. Do you have any plans in the future for eating at Hawksmoor in NYC? I hear their steaks are phenomenal. I saw a video today from an UK food vlogger who ate at the one in London. His food looked amazing and excellent value for the money. Yes, it is on the pricer side, but you get what you pay for. Keep up the great work and looking forward to your continue food adventures.
I ate at Hawksmoor recently and it was outstanding. UA does have a Hawksmoor vid several months back. A positive review of the rump steak (I enjoyed it as well).
Thank you for letting me know. I will look up that video and watch it later. Glad you enjoy your meal. Take good care of yourself and enjoy your weekend.
Great review..those steaks look amazing and thanks for the laugh when the girl asked if everything was alright lol
Ribeye is my favorite too; although no butter!!! Chuck Eye is very flavorful too. That Cesar salad looked great! I'd get some bacon added to mine if available? That Filet looked perfect too. I want to go there next time in Vegas.
When my best friend spent a week in Vegas around 2019 My hotel was next door to this WONDERFUL restaurant. The food was INCREDIBLE. Next time I go to Vegas, I will 100% go again!!
One of my favorite places in Vegas!
UA the even sear you're referring to doesn't usually come from a cast iron or flattop, because the meat often raises up while cooking so you don't get 100% contact with the cooking surface. High end steak houses often use expensive broilers called salamanders that can get up to 1500 degrees that gives it an even sear and the trademark broiled flavor.
Looks amazing I need to venture off the strip and try this place. Thanks for the review. I recently had a dry aged ribeye at the new Ocean prime restaurant and it was great.
Yeah it's a bit of a trek to get there if you're not a local, but I think it's worth it
I have been to all kinds of steakhouses in Vegas. I have not tried golden steer yet but been doing research for next trip and after a few of my favorite TH-camrs approval (UA is my fav as I think we have similar tastes and i trust him) , this is on my list for next trip and also Oscar's steakhouse 9oz ribcap.
Highly recommended Vic and Anthony’s inside Golden Nugget, if you haven’t been.
I had been flying out to Vegas several times a year since 2003 up until last year and I never went to this place. My old school dining spot in Vegas was Battista's, but I might have to take another trip and be sure to try this joint.
Been going to Vegas for vaca since 2000 and have been to Battistas a couple times . Definitely s time warp , but its really a tourist trap joint for me . Nothing special about the food and of course way overpriced. Try Alder n Birch over at the Orleans!!! Awesome surf n turf and wont break the bank.. happy travel's!!!
@@johnkovalicky3389 I agree. The food isn't that fantastic, but the atmosphere is beautiful. Thanks for the recommendation, though. I think I've only been at the Orleans once.
@@serialclone check that restaurant out next time. And if ya like Chinese you must check out Ping Pang Pong at the Gold Coast Casino it's rite next to the Rio! Chao
On grass fed vs corn fed: corn fed doesn't need to be aged as long as grass fed does in order for it to taste good. Aging grass fed beef is crucial for the taste, if its not aged long enough it is tough and gamey. When grass fed is aged properly (aged longer) it becomes rich, deeper in flavor, and delicious.
I used to be a server. Never listen to the server, they're always going to say the most expensive item
We know your former tactics now 😜
I don't find that to be the case most of the time. but a lot of the time they'll try to push something that's about to go bad, lol.
Another great video. I have eaten at Golden Steer a few times but it has been a very long time. Probably over 10 yrs since I was there. I would have to go again and see what I like. I remember it being good. You said the best Filet, so I will take my wife there the next time she visits Vegas with me,. I am in Vegas a few times a year for trade shows. You are covering some good places there. Circus hotel which is a dump actually ahs a good old school steakhosue. I have not been there in many yrs. The prices used to be alot less. One of the most famous Chinese restauarants there is Lotus of Siam. You probably know that and may be reviewing it right now. I have never eaten there.
Lotus of of Siam sounds like Thai restaurant 😳
I have the dry-aged ribeye every year. Ceasars salad and cherries jubilee. Definitely one of my favorites of all time.
I know the Ribeye is kind of THE cut for steak lovers and I do love it, I just love the filet more.
My last meal would definitely be steak au’poivre.
Your video review was excellant! A bar seat would be perfect! Grab a single malt , a Ceasars salad with a little Tabasco sauce!,, a New York strip steak and a baseball game!!!!!Perfection!

I live in Las Vegas. I've traveled the world, been to hundreds of steakhouses. Golden Steer is top 5 steakhouse for sure. No doubt about it. Vegas has another really good steakhouse, called STK at the Cosmopolitan hotel.
