What a blessing to hear about how God used you as a weak vessel, but gave you His strength through what He called you to do! May God use this story to encourage more people for missions wherever they are.

AMAZING privilege to get to hear how God formed a little girl into a woman of God and conformed her to the image of Christ. Thank you for the interview 💝
Only 8 minutes in and I was bawling like a baby. I could hardly get through this one without tears. Glory to God, pray he revives this nation to what it once was💔
What a wonderful testimony. I had Polio in 1952 in San Antonio TX @ age 2, but have lived in Washington State since 1958. My parents had the same attitude and I was never treated as disabled.
I have read your book, Elinor, and it is such a blessing to hear you and Brother Paul! I cried and laughed. I really appreciate the part you shared about the little, unknown Chinese man who said, "Whom the Lord calls He will use"! I love it! I am weak in health, and it gives me more hope that God can still use me for His Great Commission! I thank the Lord for you both! And I appreciate you, Brother Paul saying that God puts that inner earnestness inside of those He calls, and it is confirmed by godly people. Again, God is using you to push me to be a tool in the hand of God, rather than think my life is over and I am useless. Yesterday, as I was interviewed by an elder for membership at my new church in Virginia, the elder gave me hope and this interview is a confirmation. I don't know if this makes sense, but I am crying in gratitude for how God works!
Thank you so much, Christine. "Urgent earnestness" - don't you love that description?! Yes, that's what God puts in the hearts of those He calls. Thank you for sharing all of this with me. Yes, it does make sense. God will surely guide you along His path for you. May this be the beginning of the next step.
Our family has been serving in Papua for a little over a year. It is so hard I don’t know how I’ll get through the day at times. But hearing your story gives me courage to face tomorrow.
God bless you! Yes, some days were very hard, but the Lord always made a way. I'm sure He does for you, too. One day you'll be able to look back and see the wonderful things He was doing.
Thank you, Elinor (if you ever read this) for sharing with us the way God moved your life to do such amazing missionary work. It reminds me of Isaiah 55:8 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways, My ways" declares the LORD." I think I needed to hear this.
Love you sister Elinor.. This story was so precious for me to listen to.. Thank you so much and bless this beautiful lady for being such an encouragement to us all thank you Ps Paul Washer 🙏♥️
"whom the Lord calls, He will use." Wow. Thank you for this, Miss Elinor Young. Your life is a living testimony of God's love and care for His children. God bless you. I also highly appreciate Pastor Paul Washer's insights and genuine heart. God bless you as well, pastor.
Thank You, Lord, for Elinor's and Pastor Paul Washer's lives! Teach us how to follow Your Will with Courage and True Love! God bless you, dear missionaries!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you. This was such a testimony of Gods love. It led me to tears and joy. I love you both, your obedience to God is unmistakable.
What a beautiful soul💛 This great woman of God showed extraordinary strength..she gave ALL of herself. Serving in missions is so much more gratifying...her reward awaits for her in heaven, God has a special crown of glory for her..may she be blessed today and always.🙏
I'm so excited to see this! I have been waiting to watch since it was first announced in the Heartcry magazine. God is faithful! He causes all things to work together... What a precious servant of the Lord! Brother Paul, what a statement you made, "Apart from His grace, I'd be unbelieving." How true.❤
We were saved in Melbourne, Australia, in 1973 and came to know Jessie Williamson who was from our church. I’m pretty certain that Miss Young knew her and can’t wait to hear more of the story! God is such a good Father!
Absolutely I did! Jessie left working in the area of the Dani tribe and moved to Korupun among the Kimyal people. That's where I was - Korupun. Jessie was an amazing warrior/nurse for the Lord. And cared so deeply for the Kimyal people, both treating them and training ones to do basic medical work in outlying valleys. I have her photo up in my room here in my home.
Thank you so much for your reply! Jessie was a huge blessing to me as a baby Christian, and I know how valuable she was on the field! The Lord is using your testimony! I saw an earlier video about you and your field, but I haven't been able to find it again. Maybe you could tell me what to search! May the Lord bless you!!!!
@@ElinorYoung I have watched that and have been so blessed by the interviews by Paul Washer lately! I'm sorry I didn't reply quickly - it just got away from me. Thank you for serving the Lord in the way you did in Irian Jaya and for your example in continuing on! We loved getting to know so many people who had served on the island, and it was an important part of our early life in Christ! Wish we could chat!
It reminds me of the story of the missionary who was missing a leg, and when people would ask him why, with his challenges, he would take upon himself such an arduous job, he said: 'well, I didn't see people with two legs volunteering.' Really, sometimes I feel so 'rich' I have choices. I can go wherever I want, do whatever I want. Those who are 'poor', wait in the Lord, because they recognize they have nothing outside of Him.
Thank you for sharing this testimony! Our Lord is wonderful and His ways are so profound. I pray, as you said, that we - today’s evangelicals - would be all about the Great Commission.
Thank you Br Paul for this heart warming testimony you're both a blessing to listen too. Can't wait for the next episode. God bless he gets all the Glory ,honor and praise 👏 ❤

Wow! Philippines?! Pastor Paul Washer, I am from Manila. I have been praying to God, telling Him to allow me to meet you soon. I want to know more about Christ and I praise and thank God for giving me a spiritual leader like you. God bless and stay healthy! 🙏🏻🤍🕊️
Gracias pastor Washer por entrevistar a esta mujer tan importante para Dios, quien hace grandes cosas, de cosas y personas sencillas que verdaderamente lo aman. 🙏🏻🇬🇹

Blessed is the Lord who raises such sons and daughters for His glory. What an incredible story, what a strong woman.
Incredible story, yes. Strong woman, no - but God promises that His strength will be seen in our weakness as we give it to Him. Amazing!
So excited to see this! My kids and I are reading the Bible visual aid on her !

Listening to these short recordings with amazing people after Gods heart is so refreshing and much needed.
“God uses little things” Listening to God’s faithfulness in all the little details is so encouraging. Thank you for sharing .
Yes, that's key - God faithfulness in all the little. Little to us, but nothing is to Him.
These are some of the most touching interviews I have seen in a long time.
I've watched all of them once.

The Lord told us to encourage each other, didn't He?
I love how they listen to each other. This is a real conversation.
