Welcome home Nicole, Cav and Celine. What a daunting task, going, packing household and long journey to another great adventure living in the Philippines. Everything you guys did, brought memories when my wife and I moved almost all our entire households, many many years ago. 42 balikbayan boxes, forwarded to our new home in Nueva Ecija. That was 2013, when we settled here.
Yes it was definitely a daunting task, but we’re so glad we did it! We’re really enjoying our life here in the Philippines so far. Amazing people and culture!! God bless

Although traffic in Manila is so busy but still our place is far more beautiful especially the natures in the provinces. There in the Philippines, my kababayan (fellow filipinos) are warm, caring, loving and hospitable. Anyway, I will comeback soon there in my beloved and beautiful country.

Welcome to the Philippines!!! The laid back country in all the world and the most fun :) My advice to you guys is never leave you valuables anywhere even eating in a fast food chain or in a restaurant...its Ber Months already and its close to Christmas so the evil ones are lurking all around especially in malls just to steal unattended bags...just last week in a province, a Korean who is eating in a restaurant got his bag stolen and his passports are found in a gasoline station somewhere. This is the only bad stuff happening around people in this country but Filipinos loves people especially Foreigners so they will never hurt them...enjoy your stay, have fun and stay safe always...i''m a subscriber already so i'll be waiting for more of your adventures...

This is happening around the world but stealing or crime in Philippines is very low & rare because Filipino' are very kind person and Philippines is a very safe & peaceful country and has highest standard of security against stealing, crimes or pickpocket etc..
It is worse in Paris when it comes to snatchers, pickpocketers, and stealers.
US is the worst, looks like crime now is legal specially shoplifting

There will be some inconveniences in the beginning, have patience and before you know it, you will love the new lifestyle. Just learn that Filipinos loves to joke a lot and most of those jokes might be considered " rude" abroad but so socially acceptable in the Philippines. It's part of having fun and more often than not people don't take it personally. We can laugh at our shortcomings, our mistakes, ourselves.
