the Philippines wealth lies on its nature. sadly, many Filipino people neglect it and pursue city life more. our farmers live in poverty while the commodities they provide sells high in the cities. it is this irony that makes us different from other wealthy nations who are supported by their govt thru true agricultural help and not just nonsense subsidies that in anyways didnt bring any improvement in our agricultural sector.

For sure. Growing kids. My brother in-law had to deal with going back and forth at a young age but he then lived with us in the USA for his high school years and went to college in the Philippines. He actually ended up appreciating the Philippines and made the decision to stay after college. They will find their way… all we can do is our best and cover them with love💚🙏

I've been in P.I. for 20 years, Australia for 5 years, California for over 10 years. I plan to go back and forth depending on the season and needs. If I need major medical attention, I'll stay in California. If I needed a break, I'll go to Philippines.

Yes He is, always with us... I would say God is clear and precise, we often make things more foggy than it needs to be. That's probably because the simple things asked of us are soooo hard. Good for you guys! I absolutely love gardening/farming. I have my own garden, but also work at our local greenhouse/nursery. I wish I made this move to the PI when my kids were younger, but now that my youngest is almost of high school and hubby is close to retirement. I’m also hoping to do some farming in the PI, Babysteps 🙏🏼

Hi Polin! For some reason, i clicked this video feed and was touched with its story... Anyhow, i lived in Long Beach (90806 area) for 11 years, in pursuit of the amercan dream... Just like you, i gave up that dream and went back to Philippines (Mindanao) last 2016 and reunited with my now wife and daughter... and started from scratch! Now i have 2 hec. coconut farm, durian, lanzones and various friut trees.... Hope you'll achieve your goals and i wish you all the best!

Luckily, aside from saving so much while i was in Ca that gave advantage in the US$ to Php value, i bought few properties, i also investing a lot on research stuffs like farming, financial literacy, business trends in Ph, etc. 3-4 yrs before flying back here... I thought farming was my niche but i find it hard after several failures and considering my farm was an hour. drive from my home in the city. So I just made it a supplemental source of income every 3 months coconut harvest and yearly fruit season harvests... but not that lucrative to rely on. I ended up doing online selling and physical businesses that we venture on... I hope i could get your flyérs and check how does your venture works. Sounds so inspiring, hope you'll truly find what you hoped for!
Thank you for sharing. Farming is difficult and the margins are not great if done traditionally. We are partnering with resorts and restaurants to provide a specialty supply of produce and experience. We also have to produce farm products into goods to have better profit margins for local farms. The Philippines are one of the places I'm considering moving with my wife. But, I've been doing a lot of research and I'm also interested in Nicaragua, Vietnam, Thailand, etc. I feel that we will be much happier if and when we make that change. Canada is becoming far too stressful these days
All your options look like great options. I'm not to familiar with Nicaragua. Vietnam has great infrastructure compared to Philippines. Thailand is fun and affordable. Philippines has great people and many speak english. 🤙

For sure. Growing kids. My brother in-law had to deal with going back and forth at a young age but he then lived with us in the USA for his high school years and went to college in the Philippines. He actually ended up appreciating the Philippines and made the decision to stay after college. They will find their way… all we can do is our best and cover them with love💚🙏

I've been in P.I. for 20 years, Australia for 5 years, California for over 10 years. I plan to go back and forth depending on the season and needs. If I need major medical attention, I'll stay in California. If I needed a break, I'll go to Philippines.

Yes He is, always with us... I would say God is clear and precise, we often make things more foggy than it needs to be. That's probably because the simple things asked of us are soooo hard. Good for you guys! I absolutely love gardening/farming. I have my own garden, but also work at our local greenhouse/nursery. I wish I made this move to the PI when my kids were younger, but now that my youngest is almost of high school and hubby is close to retirement. Anyhow, i lived in Long Beach (90806 area) for 11 years, in pursuit of the amercan dream... Just like you, i gave up that dream and went back to Philippines (Mindanao) last 2016 and reunited with my now wife and daughter... and started from scratch!
Now i have 2 hec. coconut farm, durian, lanzones and various friut trees....

Luckily, aside from saving so much while i was in Ca that gave advantage in the US$ to Php value, i bought few properties, i also investing a lot on research stuffs like farming, financial literacy, business trends in Ph, etc. 3-4 yrs before flying back here...
I thought farming was my niche but i find it hard after several failures and considering my farm was an hour. drive from my home in the city. So I just made it a supplemental source of income every 3 months coconut harvest and yearly fruit season harvests... but not that lucrative to rely on. I ended up doing online selling and physical businesses that we venture on... I hope i could get your flyérs and check how does your venture works. Sounds so inspiring, hope you'll truly find what you hoped for!
Thank you for sharing. Farming is difficult and the margins are not great if done traditionally. We are partnering with resorts and restaurants to provide a specialty supply of produce and experience. We also have to produce farm products into goods to have better profit margins for local farms.

The Philippines are one of the places I'm considering moving with my wife. But, I've been doing a lot of research and I'm also interested in Nicaragua, Vietnam, Thailand, etc. I feel that we will be much happier if and when we make that change. Canada is becoming far too stressful these days
All your options look like great options. I'm not to familiar with Nicaragua. Vietnam has great infrastructure compared to Philippines. Thailand is fun and affordable. Philippines has great people and many speak english. 🤙
