Thank you so much Bettina I really really enjoyed watching you create this beautiful and amazing piece. I have a real job seeing any shapes in the colours. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags ❤❤❤❤❤
I see a family and the parents are watching - with great excitement- their babies ‘grow’ to the surface - I could stare at this all day - thank you - I’m inspired- I feel this great urge to play with my watercolors and putting some ‘memory’ images on the paper I just don’t know which direction I want to go - this inspired me to try something new ❤thank you 👩🎨💕👍
Thank you, Bettina !! I never tire of listening to you describe and talk through your thoughts and process. I can relate very much to many of those same thoughts, too. Wishing you all the best…..and hope you manage to get those new colours from Daniel Smith very soon. I do not have any DS paints yet but they definitely do look fabulous and I may have to consider them at some time in the future. 🤗💕🤗
Great picture! I think the creatures at the top look like wooly caterpillar type creatures. I think you balance things out well with adding the white features also. It gives it extra brightness
I do not like an artist saying, "Throw it in the trash." I have a bin of "mistakes" and have used the old art and reuse it for a mosaic, montage or cut into shapes and create a new picture. Also, looking at old art can show you how far you have come in your art career. I love what you did. The color choice is lovely. My favorite is anything in watercolor and pen, abstract or not!
Turned out great ..the two creatures started out pretty scary looking but you managed to turn them into being a part of the picture and really quite nice … a story can be woken around them
Hi! I think you brought a lot of positive energy into your piece! I love it and I think the two creatures at the top seem quite friendly with their glowing tummies. I look forward to your videos and I need to break out my watercolors so I can try some of your techniques. Not to copy but to experiment as you do. Thank you for the inspiration! Cheers! 🥰
I see a kind of prehistoric landscape hidden in a cave. Some video earlier you spoke about the magnetics you make. I was wondering how you managed to make the topcoat, is that a kind of epoxy (resin) and so yes, how can you get it there on this tiny squares or rounds. I even don’t dare to try it with my epoxy….. 😊
Hi Bettina, My update on Daniel Smith Watercolor purchases since my last comment. I received my 6 set and swatch them earlier this week. I have another set of DS the 10 set by Jane Haynes watercolors and finally I am getting an inspiration 12 set in a DS tin from Amazon. Lindsey the Frugal Crafter was the one who tip us off with the DS 12 pan sets which are still on Amazon. They are 51 and 55. I hope this helps you. I love watching your videos is super meditative. Maria
For abstracts such as these, if you don't like the way it appears, turn it 90 degrees and look at it, then again, and again. Maybe it will turn into something quite different. ;-)

Such a pretty work.
I didnt see the little "creatures" as looking for a fight. They looked more sloth like, or turtle like even in the beginning. Nice fantasy painting!
Love this 🎉
so beautiful 😍❤
Bettina! This is SO beautiful!!! I love watching your videos and listening to your process!
Great job! Love it
I like your process. I do the same thing. Very interesting.
Nice work ❤

Thought you had made a caterpillar that turned into a beautiful butterfly

Another wordly realm under the sea. 🙂
