That isn’t an ad. This is TH-cam giving you health information about controversial topics so you are educated, which we wouldn’t need in a perfect society but judging by all the blatant lying in the comments, we definitely need it. That is health information for those who stumble upon this video without knowledge of what abortion is.
Adoption isn’t relevant to the video. TH-cam flagged this as talking about abortion and gives health information based on that. It doesn’t understand that the video is arguing against abortion. It just knows that this is a controversial topic so it automatically details health information. This is to combat potential misinformation.
If everyone who had an unplanned pregnancy had a baby and put it up for adoption, then the adoption centers would be filled to the brim with babies that have no parents. They would not be able to handle all of them, and the result is far more suffering than “killing” unborn “babies”. If abortion was illegal, you have two options for people who aren’t ready or fit to be a parent; either send them off to adoption centers, filling them with more orphans than they could ever handle, or letting them go into the care of parents that may not be fit to be parents yet, who also may not want a baby. It disgusts me that you don’t think about the result of never having abortions. THIS is inhumane. Not your confused idea of infanticide.

@@Fredrickthe2nd That's a reasonable assessment. And calling them as such would be confrontational. But it's impossible to detach the whole murder motif, because the real debate is if an unborn is human or not. Those who would be offended by such a title have the purview that they are not human, ergo they can rationalize away that it's not murder.
The issue I have with the language control is that our side requires the unborn to be human, as such, if you terminate the life of an innocent human, then you are guilty of murder. To get them to our side, we would need to convince them that the unborn are humans, which means that they would have to admit that the position they held before was the allowing of the murder of innocents, for whatever reason. According to the National Library of Medicine, which TH-cam so helpfully cites below any video discussing this topic, "abortion is a procedure to end a pregnancy." Well, by that definition, I do think abortion should bea legal in certain cases, like when a caesarian is used to remove a baby (thereby ending a pregnancy) when the purpose is to keep mother and child alive. Why they didn't define abortion as "a procedure to end a pregnancy, with the express purpose of ending the life of the child," is beyond me, except for the fact that they know abortion is immoral, and are still trying to sugar coat it.

I know that people are often falsely accused of child abuse. I am one of those people. I was reported to CPS because my teenage daughter had some bruising on her shins. She had tripped and fallen.
Even the most innocent things can be misrepresented and turned into child abuse. Like a bruise on someone's leg or a missed doctor's appointment, or any little thing. Anything at all. So you could get CPS called on you if you cancel your child's doctor's appointment or your kid falls on the playground and scrapes up his knees. Or you have a family disagreement and your almost 18 year old daughter decides to take a long walk without supervision. They will call in to say that you aren't giving adequate supervision to your children. Legally, a 17 year old is allowed to go anywhere they want without supervision. The rule is, if they are old enough to drive, they are old enough to be out by themselves.
So now I have a record with CPS because my daughter tripped and fell and because she was taking a walk without supervision even though she is nearly an adult.

@@user-fc9iq6le2g I am a conservative. I am also pro-life. Walz is actually an admitted Socialist. He is guilty of stolen valour because he claims to have served in the gulf war. However, he refused to go over to the action. He was discharged from the military without having gone to war even though he had been called up to go. Also, he really did make fun of the National guards who came in to stop the Minneapolis riots. I was there during the riots and lived through the fear, curfew, and the burning buildings whilst Walz's wife had the windows of their mansion open to smell the city burning. He also delayed calling up the Guard to give the city maximum damage and the rioters plenty of heads-up. I saw the aftermath of it. I also saw that they defunded the police in Minneapolis for awhile. Crime was out of control and we couldn't even go to the mall for fear that we would be mugged by someone. We did not feel safe in the Twin Cities during 2020 thanks to Walz. His main concern has been implementing Planned Parenthood curriculum in the Minnesota public schools and putting tampons in the boys' toilets from kindergarten - university. Sure, he has given free breakfast to the schools, but he is also extremely pro-abortion and pro - LGBT activism to the point where even the five year olds are not safe from gender ideology.
I am very much aware of who Governor Tim Walz is. I have first hand knowledge of what he has done in Minnesota. I don't like him at all. That's the honest truth. I am not bearing false witness by saying exactly what we lived through in 2020 and afterwards because of Walz. We have had to put our children in Catholic schools because we can't afford to have our first and second graders listening to "Gloria Goes to Gay Pride" and about the Gender unicorn. It violated my deeply held religious beliefs as a Catholic. I am Catholic first and vote according to my conscience. Psalm 139:13-16 You formed my inmost being; you knit me in my mother’s womb. I praise you, because I am wonderfully made; wonderful are your works! My very self you know. My bones are not hidden from you, When I was being made in secret, fashioned in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw me unformed; in your book all are written down; my days were shaped, before one came to be.
When Mother Mary was pregnant with Jesus, she went on an about eighty mile joyous journey to visit her cousin Saint Elizabeth (patron saint of expectant mothers and pregnant women) in her hour of need, Elizabeth said referencing her tiny child in her womb John the Baptist who was conceived when she was in old age:
Luke 1:41-45 When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, “Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. I have reviewed some of the cases in which women died or came close to death due to being denied treatment related to birth issues. the claim being reported is that the doctor's were hesitant to provide the needed treatment because they were not sure if it violated the law. I read into those laws and the text is clear about doctor's being allowed to make reasonable judgement and even provide them a path for reporting why they came to that reasonable judgement. Like basically any other question related to malpractice investigations. These are doctors used to these types of legal procedures; there is no way they could be unclear about the various states' legal requirements.
This leads me to suspect there is something very nefarious going on, that doctors are either being purposefully dense or being compelled to be dense (or lied to) and basically allowing women to die in some sort of twisted way to 'prove' the necessity for all abortions being legalized. There is a ton of money in medicine for abortions and it is a low risk procedure for them to perform. I think they are letting women die for activist principals about abortion and for profit. And yet we are to believe that republicans trying to protect life are the evil ones. so twisted.

Trent is keen on fact checking, so he'll let this stand.
Fact-check: Does Minnesota’s abortion protection law allow doctors to deny lifesaving care to infants?
“The Minnesota law that you signed into law, the statute that you signed into law, it says that a doctor who presides over an abortion where the baby survives, the doctor is under no obligation to provide lifesaving care to a baby who survives a botched late-term abortion," Vance said.
    This is false.
The law Walz signed in Minnesota in January 2023 states that “every individual has a fundamental right to make autonomous decisions about the individual’s own reproductive health” and that “every individual who becomes pregnant has a fundamental right to continue the pregnancy and give birth, or obtain an abortion, and to make autonomous decisions about how to exercise this fundamental right.”
The policy enshrined into state law its existing protections for reproductive care at the time.
Passage of the 2023 law led to the removal of certain language from Minnesota statutes, including language that required physicians to “preserve the life and health” of an infant “born alive.” State statutes now say that “all reasonable measures consistent with good medical practice … shall be taken by the responsible medical personnel to care for the infant who is born alive.”
Anti-abortion-rights advocates have claimed that language means infants who survive abortions can be denied care.
While some Democrats, including Walz, support broad access to abortion, infanticide is illegal in every state, and no Democrats advocate for it.
In addition, abortions late in pregnancy are exceedingly rare - nationally and in Minnesota. Just 1% of abortions are performed after 21 weeks’ gestation, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and they are typically due to serious medical causes.
Although the Minnesota law doesn’t state a specific time in pregnancy after which an abortion isn’t permitted, the state previously restricted the procedure after a fetus reaches viability - usually around 24 weeks. That restriction remains enjoined.
The Minnesota Health Department’s most recent annual report on induced abortions (for 2022) found that there were only two recorded abortions in the state after the 25th week of pregnancy
