The board should be sacked, the chief risk officer and the anti money laundering team lead fired and the outgoing CEO forced to repay all bonuses and the board repay their director fees. There should be zero bonuses this year and no golden parachute or pension for the outgoing CEO.
Outgoing CEO? He's not going anywhere lol
The CEO is a Jew
@@jaysonb.6669He is resigning
@@jaysonb.6669 He retired
Imagine if it was a general canadian citizen. How long would he or she serve in jail, but if you are bank and get away with money for crimes
If they did this in the USA they would spend their natural life behind bars. Like Pablo Escobar , no different than him either .
and if the fines put them in financial trouble they will just get a bail out.
Because it is a failure to check/prevention. It is hard to be impossible to prove in court that TD is laundering money.
Money & Federal Direction of Culture and Board & Big $ on AML & Years of in-house Federal "Probation" and Special Oversight - really, this was a shot across the bow for all the big banks who have been likely doing the same practices for just as long as TD.
CORPORATE head on a stake imagery.
@@electroncommerce Where is your proof of other banks doing the same? TD ADMITTED to this criminality. Any CEO heading a bank facilitating money laundering needs to be put in jail.
I want my NSF charges back.
NO! next.
TD needs that money to pay their $3 BILLION DOLLAR FINE.
You’re a grown man with insufficient funds….
Maybe don’t be a loser
People should go to jail
Charges need to be laid on the individuals involved. As a shareholder I am very angry!

@@stephanienguyen6992 ASAP! This stock is going to tank over the short, medium, and even long term.
CEO should serve jail term
but U have to prove he knew about it.
Better be jail time, if it was a person they would be in jail.
“Person” can be a body corporate/corporation/trust or individual. So techinically you are correct.
TD BANK IS THE MODERN DAY SCARFACE!
WOW interesting comparison - very memorable movie !!
without the white powder on its face.
Nono, with
Tip of the iceberg.
If they dig they will find.
This is this whole iceberg, trust me. I worked for banks and I can tell you that FINTRAC is relentless.
^This
Dominoes are beginning to fall
Fines what about criminal charges?
Canadian account holders will have to likely end up paying for the losses & the ceo"s etc will end up with a nice bonus.
wonder what the ceo got in bonus`s !...lol
RBC Boss got MILLIONS BONUS .......
Can you imagine what’s going on now in Canadian banks and nobody has a clue.
This is surprising for a Canadian bank since the big 5 stayed out of the 2008 fiasco. Unfortunately, TD entered the US system during the vacuum after 2008. I have to believe this whole deal is on the US side of the business where the crooks have not been weeded out and jailed.
How on earth can you say that? It is a Canadian bank run from Toronto. I do not believe the CEO was ignorant to what was going on. What a bullshit and typically Canadian response you made.
US is a big corrupt society. They should’ve known that better
@supermash1 I'm not Canadian, but I do know the banking industry.
I'm pondering whether or not to move my accounts out of TD. At the very least I will be migrating new business away from TD. I want to see heads roll at the top and jail time for TD staff and especially executives as a result of this blatant criminality.
TD will write off the monetary fine as an expense. Why no criminal charges against the higher ups?
Why are comments being deleted?
Because the AI has deemed them counterproductive to "The Narrative"
It's part of the new normal
Freedom of speech
If your stuff gets deleted, its good stuff, push harder get it out hahaha
Insiders are predicting soon coming major bank failures.
Corruption is absolutely everywhere!! Did you get your percentage “the common Joe”??
Haha. Didn’t think so. If your not in the club your just not in it 😂😂
U know, there is a reason why hsbc is gone.
Care to elaborate? Im genuinely interested
Regulators are satisfied with strong language as a deterrent. wtf?
That’s a capitol WTF
I wonder when the law firms are going to start suing “on behalf of shareholders?”
So, some idiots at TD didn't learn anything from the wrongdoings and it's consequences of Wells Fargo.
How will TD respond if US expansion is limited ? Expand further retail banking in Canada, Europe , Asia ? May be an opportunity to penetrate into more profitable markets.
anyone remember when Ray Loewen (Loewen Group) was fined $500 million USD cause 1 lone Funeral home owner had a hissy fit. This $3 Billion fine is like chump change comparatively.
Hope that this will serve as a LESSON to other Canadian banks to be HONEST .Sooner or later, EVERY WRONG DOING IS CAUGHT ! !
Take your money out now!
Penalty $3 Billion and money laundered in the $ Hundred of millions 🤔
19 trillion.
Jail time right??? bwahahaha. These banksters get away with murder and will still get their bonuses!! Fines will just be passed onto the customer!
TD is now the bad boy in Canada instead of CIBC. Bharat Masrani is making history by bringing TD to be the first Canadian bank to have an asset cap imposed by US regulators, sharing the same success as Wells Fargo.
Unfortunately, it is only the shareholders and depositors who are punished for these crimes. The perpetrators walk away scot free!
Didn't a senior executive of a german car company go to jail in the U.S. for a number of years from the fall-out of the Diesel Gate fiasco?!
IMHO, a number of TD employees and senior management/executives may end up behind bars.
Needs to be some jail time ,for those who knew what was going on.
the 3.1 Billion in penalties does that go back to those that fell to the pushers of FENTANYL ? .....
Anything less than Prison isn’t throwing the book. A regular citizen would go to jail for laundering large amounts of money
Now TD can raise banking fees from their customers to pay fines. What a joke!
This is so embarrassing. Glad I’m not banking with these gangsters
Where does the money go to after the penalties are paid? Into the "controller of currency" hands?
They might have to sell all those 'Green Chairs' they have in their money stores.
Nobody will do 1 day in jail.
I think the bank could of gotten better legal representation from street person.
Shareholders should be compensated for loss of trust.
Canada doesn’t know about it, USA has to told it🤔
Are these people still in “TD bank?”
Oh jesus! And mike thank you for sharing! I'm sure here in Australia is the same because in fact Foreigners who buy houses here don't have to give any information where the money comes from
TD didn't pay their protection money to Uncle Sam. Every major bank operating in the world does this.
Dam so much for fentanyl coming in from the border.
Is this the only way to be rich? Do we need to get our hands dirty?!
Must be why I'm being bombarded with TD adds. They need to make their money back.
8:50 “We’ll see some heads roll unfortunately for some of them” 🙄 They pled GUILTY. They’ll have to pay up billions but the people at the top will still walk away with millions in their pockets and boohoo some execs may need to be shuffled around in order to put up the appearance of accountability. Unbelievable. The perspective on this story wasn’t “This bank is criminal; it was “How inconvenient they got caught. How long will it take before we can do profitable business with them again???” Unbelievable.
Imagine Bank staff taking gift cards to allow Money Mondering
This has been going on for years. Feds made sure to wipe their hands clean first before throwing TD under the bus. This is comical.
3 billion... is that cad or usd? Trudum going to bail out td with our tax $?
Money doesn’t grow overnight, but with the right investments, it can grow exponentially over time.,..
Time in the market is one of the biggest factors in growing wealth through investments
Thanks to my financial adviser, I’ve experienced the benefits of being in the market long enough to see substantial growth
Please educate me. I've come across this name before. Now I am interested. How can I reach her?
Nicole Anastasia Plumcan'tlee divulge much... Most likely, the internet should have her basic info, you can research if you like.
Thank you for the lead. I searched her up, and I have sent her an email. I hope she gets back to me soon.
The stock dropped 4% today, on high vilume. I deal with them in Canada. I hope the whole top office gets cleaned out, and jail time for the perps. The gangs/Cartels? Well I can't comment on them or I get a flag from UT
I added to my position at $74 for the dividend., (>5%).
they won't pay a dividend now
Gangster bankers! Shame on TD!
We'll see how much they'll ACTUALLY HAVE TO PAY AS CORPORATIONS ALWAYS IN UP MAKING A DEAL TO GIVE UP VERY LITTLE MONEY.
Thank you America. I could not get a job for 11 years, I was treated like dirt pushed from contract to contract and every time I spoke up in Canada for my human rights I got let go or told to just do my job at every place I worked. No TD executive helped me get another job and I was a polite, top executive assistant in 2007. It's good. Everyone hurt me. I was belittled and treated like a child not an educated women including when I reported to BMO about gift card laundering and fake police calls and threats of arrest with them dressing up as police and having my address claiming I did not pay my taxes. Every job application is rejected because all the banks are connected to the places I apply to work. I hope I get a good paid job. I deserved it rather than Aww let's move on to the next BAU by blonde haired management.
woman, not women. Your education can't be that great. The Canadian banks are all full of employees of every race now, so I doubt you were discriminated against because of race. Maybe it's you with the prejudice dark haired woman?
Luckily for The TD Bank That they offered Stock Options to The Cartels if they can Pony up for These Trumped up Charges
Whos going to jail though?
Haha! Good. Criminal bankers
Not surprised
I feel a bailout comin on
Ok who took the money from TD
mmmmm Check th eother banks in Canada ,seems like a lot of money laudering ,especially in the gov !
Its just part of banking, Td is unlucky enough, leave US market so you don’t get taxed in another form
I CLOSED MY ACCOUNT TODAY EVERYONE SHOULD FOLLOW SUIT
Found there corporate driven retirement investment fund invested heavily in low income housing.... where renovictions started. Cbc Nova Scotia had a story on a Halifax suburb(?) having a major event
I like my TD Bank ...but I'm Italian lol
People blame the ones in power, yet forget to blame their own ignorance for not knowing whats going on. Yes what they done was take advantage of the people, but people allowed those in power to continue to take advantage of them for generations. Yes be angry, but be angry at yourself for allowing yourself to be fooled for so long. Your signature is the most powerful thing you have, and you have no idea how to use it.
I want my 1mill retirement money back that they stole and called it fraudulent
Soon they will pay for what they did to me
I would suggest that the Canadian economy rid itself of as much American influence as possible. The US is a fascist country, and following its lead will bring ruin. An example is following the lead of the American health agencies and the rollout of the mRNA technology.
Time for you meds now tinoby.
Not bank....bitcoin forever
They probably made 50 billion so there like 3 billion no problem
they make a billion a year. This is a real problem
3 Billi 😮
I'm telling u there stocks will suffer
No jail time. lol. Take your money out.
bitcoin only hope.
lol it was all homosexuals sitting at the top of TD in 2003 & i am thoroughly enjoying this downfall

That is ok, customer will pick up the tab with higher service fees😂😂😂

Glad I moved pretty much everything out of that Bank a few years ago.
