Would 18 inch tires that were from a Honda accord fit on a 2022 Honda civic ex? Because my car uses 17 inch tires but I’m not sure if the other tires will fit
I just purchased a 2024 Honda Civic EXL hatchback. It came with 17 inch stock wheels and I would like to go up to a 19 inch wheel. It is too low to the ground and I want to lift the car up a couple of inches. Anyone know if I would be going too far by going up to a 19 inch tire size?
I really want to put 245 tires or 255s but I want it to be flush. Would 18x9.5 fit flush with that or should I do 18x8.5. I really don’t want to do any modifications. I drive a 22 civic, any recommendations would be great.
Our salesman Jim has an 11th gen, the grey one pictured in this video at 08:12 . He runs a 255, 18 x 9.5 ET40 and you can see the fitment is aggressive but pretty perfect.
@konigwheels In your professional opinion would an 18x9.5 ET22 on 235/40 tires fit if the car were to be lowered about an inch front and back with coilovers? I would like to have some poke fitment. Also what issues do ya’ll think I’ll run into?
Jim's civic in this video runs an ET40 at that spec and he has a slight poke. At a ET22, you'll see a pretty heavy poke, also, you'll more than likely encounter rubbing. We would suggest going with a different size altogether here. There's a reason we don't include this in our suggested options in this video.
Will I have any issues with rubbing on my 11th gen if I run 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear both with 35mm offset. Front running 255/40/18. And the rear running 275/40/18. I also want to keep it stock height.

I got some ESR rims 18x8.5 +30 offset. Could I use the OEM stock tires on these or would I need to buy new tires? If so what tire size would you recommend? I have a 22’ civic sport with 235/40/R18 stock tire/rim.
Go to your tire manufacturer's website, look at the "approved rim width" and diameter range. From there you can dial in your sizing and/or use a tire calculator to determine what size to proceed with safely.
I have the '22 Sport Touring stock OEM. From what you are saying the "Blades" wheelset from the Accord with 19"x8.5" and 5x114.3 bolt pattern will fit with no issues other than purchasing the correct tire?
No issues there. As mentioned in the video, he can go up to 18" in diameter without any problems as long as he stays within the proper recommendations for width and offset.
With that sized wheel, you're gonna see two things happen: the wheel will poke pretty aggressively, and the tire sizing will need to have a very thin sidewall. Closest tire would be a 255 / 35 / 19 but we would really recommend a different sized wheel to start.
