I'm back with another fabulous luggage review, and this time, I found a solution for some of our luggage problems. A lot of people have been asking me about the perfect pieces of rolling luggage for international travel, as many 22" bags are too big... Well, I've found them! Yep! Went to London with no issues, but taking Ryan Air to Dublin was a heck to tha no on my otherwise tried and true carry-on. Happy to have pros like you to hip us to the game so we aren’t looking crazy at the gate. 😂

So I have a non-stop LAX to London on BA, and they have the standard carry on allowance. However, my return is from Edinburgh via Emerald Air to Dublin, then Aer Lingus to LAX. Emerald air has a smaller carry-on allowance, so I am packing for that allowance to avoid any issues. I sure wish there was a universal carry-on size and weight. It would make life so much easier!

So I can’t find the thread we talked about it but I have used my grace level 8 and put my
Laptop in the front and it worked ok. I keep certain things in the side that borders it. Like my toiletries and laundry bag and things like that. The reason I liked this one was it expands! I haven’t flown for a longer trip I did a couple days but so far it worked better than I thought.

I've been looking around for a new carry on for international travel and the airline I'm taking to South America is very strict and stingy when it comes to carry on luggage. I had looked at all the popular choices and strayed away from level 8 because they have this listed as a tad wider on their website (guessing including the handle) however I see that with your measurements it should be fine. I would have never bought it just to then measure and check, so I really appreciate this video, thank you again.
The textured luggage was fabulous for the trip I took it on! Level 8 is such a great brand, I wish more people knew how great it is! And affordable!

Their website used to say 10, when I made this video but it’s not! It’s 7ish
Would you be able to do a review on Level 8 Grace luggage series? I would definitely love to hear your opinion on the Pros and Cons of that particular Level8 series.
It’s not actually on their website, I’m assuming it’s an old model. I can always try to get one from them that has an outside pocket like that, but I can tell you, I usually don’t like pieces of luggage that have the outer shell pocket. It usually takes half of the depth from the one side, leaving one unable to pack almost anything on that side. (I did a review of an Away bag that is similar on here)
I prefer to travel with a normal hard luggage and a small backpack for my laptop.

It’s not on the level 8 site, I think it’s older. Looks like it takes up a lot of space with the pocket. I would never prefer it. My latest video compares the other 2 level 8 pro bags though :)

Hi Kelly! I was looking for another Level 8 Gibraltar review … I couldn’t find it… that’s why I landed on this review… I noticed a Gibraltar on your shelving behind you (more recent videos of course) … yes, I did see the review when the silver one broke including the wheels…yet, I saw a gray one behind you… I’d prefer you travel with a Gibraltar… then, I’d appreciate the review more.. I prefer reviews from your experiences…
They sent me a new one based on the one that got dented . I can’t travel with it anytime soon, simply because a lot of the airlines I’m going on could potentially weigh my luggage, and it’s a bit too heavy. Perhaps the next time I travel within the US!

I've seen other people use that brand. Would love to see how much they would hold compared to the Beis as far as real world packing. Maybe the same things you packed the last time you used your Beis?

What are your thoughts on doing an underseater and backpack for international travel ? I usually have hard time lifting the 21’ suitcases into the overhead bin and thought an underseater would be more manageable.
Like the hard under seater bags? I’ve never really used one to be honest, but I’m sure it could fit enough! You need to be able to handle your own luggage for sure :)
It’s a soft side one. I’ve been doing practice runs to make sure it will all fit lol
Trying to pick a carry on that would fit enough for a 10 European trip- do you think this would do?
Oh yes, I did 2 weeks in the textured luggage! (In the winter, too!)

Hi just to confirm this is the 20 inch carry on and it’s under 21 inches? Just want to double check as I need under 21 inches but on their website it said 21.5 inches. Thanks 🙏
It’s about 21.5. What airline are you flying? It’s worked in every carry on sizer I’ve ever tried and usually the dimension allowance is 45 linear inches

Nice video…as I watching it, you NEVER mentioned the model like Road Runner…you never assumed that we would know the model…you mentioned the price but not the model.
I forgot to mention the model of the textured luggage, but did for the glitter carry on, plus they are in the description with links :)
