  • You need to see the "dancing red cut paths" in VersaWorks 6 when you're ready to RIP and print your file. To ensure your print file includes a cut path when printing to a Roland DG printer, hear our Roland DGA prodduction expert, Bryan Ballreich's tips for working in Adobe Illustrator and VersaWorks 6 to ensure that the cut paths are always there.

Cool video and simple to follow. Do you happen to have a similar video on performing a Perforated Cut for stickers? Thanks again

Would have been nice to address troubleshooting - I have a situation where Illustrator EPS is setup correctly per video, but when cutting the CutContour is performed twice (two cuts) on the one path.

    Hello!
Until Versaworks 5 , cutting order was the order of cutting path creation
Versaworks 6 have its own algorithm , it seems to cut first the closest to top,
    path.
I want to manually optimize the cutting order for jobs that i often do, and they are the same files
    a) There is a way to set manually the cutting order at latest VW6 based on path creation order, or path position?
    b) If not, it is possible to add the option to follow the cutting path creation
order or position, at next updates ?
(At some jobs the cutting speed will be increased remarkably !!)
    Thanks
    Panagiotis
