Thanks for this video. I am a "line-by-line" guy myself and wasn't able to get a grasp of game engines. Like you, I tried UE and Unity with no success. Friends, colleagues and family told me, "If you can work line-by-line, you can work with game engines too, since they're easier." I had trouble to explain why I couldn't wrap my head around this issue. Just recently I started to understand how things work thanks to Godot. I'm far behind you when it comes to talent and experience though.
You should make a tutorial sometime for the Godot engine. Just the basics as you go would be interesting.

Thanks for this video. Much more relatable than some of these tutorials that just blast through concepts.
