Lol this was my problem exactly. I wish I saw your video first, spent 2 hours adjusting and tapping the clutch with a hammer before I decided to look at the chain lol😅 drivetrain is so overlooked
my problem i just had was the tension pulley kicked into the spokes and now looking to see if it can be fixed or just buy a new rim inhopes it dont do the same thing... also just changed to a different tension pulley
I need some help! On my 66cc bike when I pedal I hear this screechy noise and when I start the motor or just roll the bike without the motor on the pedals spin by it self. If I let them spin when the bike is on and stop them with my feet the motor turns up and the rear wheel locks up. How do I fix this? This has never happened before?
I just had the same issue. Thank you for the video cuz I thought the motor was done for. But sure enough, I opened it up and that was the problem. Thank you
This was my problem. Does that mean my chain is too loose? I thought so after fixing it like this, so I tried removing a link, at which point it became to short, because I had to take 2 off.
Yoooooo, thanks a lot for this video….. cause I was about to sell my bike for $100 which I know it’s worth more because of that issue….. now, it’s back up for sell for $600
have the same problem ,going to put two tensioners for bike, the standard one and the one that fits onto the sprocket cover or run without tensioner would be my final solution
@@ec5423 my chain keeps locking up when I use the sprocket cover spring tensioner, I think I’m going to try using both tensioners and get it tight. Having it tight is key
Unfortunately that's not the problem I'm having. My wheel rolls when the clutch is engaged. But when I released it to try and start it, the back wheel locks up. No roll or even a failed start
Same thing was happening to mine some guy just tightened the clutch arm by pulling the cable out slightly and pushing the clutch arm further inwards while pulling on the cable to hold the tension WHILE I HELD THE CLUTCH. Afterwards he just replaced the little screw holding the clutch cable tension at the new position and that totally took the bike from locked up to free rolling, the clutch lever even felt brand new AND the speed of the bike increased a lot.
I've had 6 different ones in the last 8 or 10 years and never have I bumped into a problem like this. No offense but it does sound kinda to good to be true but I sure hope I'm wrong and you're right bud. Thanks for the advice.
That’s exactly what happened and I’m brand new at this I will let you know….happend on my break first time riding it to work went for some lunch and locked up this video just gave me hope that the engine isn’t locked like I said I’ll let you know
That clutch handle is one of my main issues. Got to be able to bypass it? I will find it and share it here. My knowledge is with go-kart, sea-doo and lawnmower engines. I will find a way.
Same 3 times, I took off the side cover and I can clearly see the chain skipped a link and the extra part of the chain just completely locked the chain
I'll save you a bunch of money and time buy a CB-110 rear wheel with brake drum and a hub adapter mount sprocket kit that rag joint pineapple sprocket thing is fucking garbage!
I don't know how I will save a bunch of money spending a bunch of money on a wheel that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the chain jumping and getting jammed in the engine. Why didn't you criticize the chain tensioner on the bike when chain tensioner not being adjust correctly WAS the problem?
You’re a life saver. I was stranded, caught a ride home, watched your video, and 10 minutes later I’m on the road again. Thanks 🙏
This dude saved me so many hours, simply.
I wanna thank u so much I will be watching all ur videos from now on
i cant thank you enough mate, ive been confused, will update back after attempting 😂🎉
Brand new to the hobby your a lifesaver thank you

Thank goodness for this video My brother would’ve fought me locking his engine up but it was the chain thanks
😂 I know right
He would fight you for breaking his engine???
thanks . . . best solutions are usually simple. Immense amount of thank-you's for sharing.
really helped honestly great video thank you for your time and effort 👍
Hey any videos on how to tighten the chain or change back tire? My back rim is done

You have to tighten the bolts very tight until both parts of the clamp come together. I hope you get what I am trying to say.

Thank buddy. You definitely save me a headache.

Either pull the rim backwards and makes sure the bolts are lose, Or you could make a custom chain
It was True, 👌 yes that fast
Good Stuff, Thanks

600$ are u smoking crack these kits are woth 150 200$ max plus 200$ bike ur asking 200$for ur time putting the motor on witch is super easy
Do you have any ideas of what you can do if it keeps happening
Tighten the chain. Sorry, I don't visit my channel often.
Some people have decided to ditch the chain tensioner, is this alright too do?

How did that work out? I think I’m going to have to do that same thing on my bike

My bike the tire lock up when I let the couch out and doesn't start what wrong

It much be a bad clutch ball inside the engine it’s happening to my buddys engine

Omgg this is exactly the same problem for me have you fixed it yet?
YOU ROCK!!! Thanks.
This happens but my bike after riding for a while than I have to wait for it to cool down.. I don't know what to do
Well THIS can't be the problem. because letting it "cool down" won't fix it.
Do you have any idea what it could be

Great advice brother!
I just got my kit, everything brand new, and it is locked up : /
Mine made it 6 blocks and locked up.
Oil fuel is correct

It's fucking not too good to be true I'm mad asf because mine isn't working and this is what the problem was

just subbed
The chain is too loose and or the motor is cocked to the side.
I mentioned that this was staged and the engine was cocked because the bike got hit by a car. I only used it for demonstration.
I love this community 👍
❤thank you that was it
This was what happened to a customers bike yesterday that came in for repair.
This really works
Its the chain
Happened to me thank god there was no ice

A case mounted tensioner with a stronger spring will fix this from happening
