i swear that as soon as the person connected a motor and and FC and tried to spin the motor, it want up in fire just like all the ESC`s i have "repaired" :D There is more damage than just the FET, there is either some resistor busted or the FET driver as well which need to be checked if needs replacement. Only once i managed to fix an ESC and fly for remainder of the season all other 20 attempts it went up in fire the moment a motor was spun. Beeping fine, spinning NOPE!
@@TheFruitcake1983 thanks for the tip. Soldered some new condensators on the esc but it didn’t worked. The fc will get the power so i believe it can only be the power circuit for the MCU. Dont know how to fix that :/
@@MJ-mw3ni Did they break on impact? If so, the cracks could be either in the board or in the active components. I have fixed my problem now because the GND leg on the connector burned off or broke off inside the board after a fall.
@@TheFruitcake1983 after a crash i didn’t saw any further damage under the microscope beside 2 broken capacitors. Maybe the pcb go some hits. Do you think there could be some high voltage spikes destroying further components? There also no shorts on the Esc and the resistant is equal to any motor output.
@@Breakingcarbon Okay.. So i was testing my quad indoors and crashed into a pillow on the bed so I immediately disarmed it and then motors started making some weird tone so I got it to my desk and checked everything was ok and then the moment I armed it there was a spark which freaked me out and rest is history.
Hello, i just got my charging port off the board, it is needed to the drone to make the first "OK" sounds? since that i only hear the motors"beep", theres any way to repair it?

man you are the most patient human in the world
can you send link wich mosfet you used for replace?

x2🥲
where we can find the right replace?

Do you have the schematics for the replacement?
I have some broken condensators on the back side but dont know what what exact part i need.
solder out one serviceable one and measure its capacitance

@@MJ-mw3ni Anything can happen after shocks, cracked capacitors could have shorted out etc.
moral of the story... maybe speedybee costs more than rush!
bad idea to heat without unsoldering the electrolytic capacitor or at least put a metal shield over it
One of my Speedybee esc has a faulty MOSFET in the exact same location as yours. Makes me wonder if its some kinda design issue.
A very likely chance, many esc experience the same problem

how did u test the motors? they didnt seem to move or smth
They do a little move while activated
What is the type of mosfet to order for this repair?
Me too, dont know which mosfet to find exactly key world searching to buy.
I took a similar ESC
Bro i have same esc i have some issue voltage sensor is not working or firmware is showing unknown esc I tried to flash but not working flash error
Your version is correct?

Where did you get mosfet for replacement? I also have broken one
And also what was the issue? Why did they broke? Was it factory defect?

What flux/solder do you recommend?
My recommendation is to use KESTER solder with flux
For flux I didn’t have some recommendation

Next time try low temp solder. It will keep the solder melt uniform. Good job though. Those ball grid parts can be a bitch.
