From experience with those buck converters, dont solder them flat to the base pcb through the holes like with a castellated module. You will not be able to desolder them without damaging the base board if you need to replace them. Use single pin headers as stand offs soldered to the base, drop the converter holes over the pins and solder those. Easy to desolder later.

That fan isn't going to do much cooling without someplace for the air to exhaust out of the case.

Nice work but that box needs vent holes, if the fan is blowing in the box will blow up cause there's no where for the air to go and if its blowing out its working as a vacuum sealer cause there's no air coming in for the fan to push out

Didn’t even show the wiring diagram. I have all these parts, minus the circuit board. I could make this, but I have no idea how it’s wired.

Why have the usb C port when you can't reach it?

That device is only being used to regulate charging to the batteries. It is also use for other things but in this project it is not.

Thank you for the video but it feels like this is only a publicity. It would be nice if there were a BOM, gerber file and so on. This would allow someone to do this project and order from the company you are promoting. Furthermore, your project has a box that can be 3D printed etc. This would also be appreciated to know dimensions etc. Lastly, cooling is great but the air needs to go somewhere. At the moment you are either creating a pressure or a vacuum in the box and it would not cool very much and will force the fan to consume more electricity and eventually burn out. Take care

Basically an advert for a PCB company! Those batteries will hardly run a router for any useful time!

Good DIY approach to a commercially existing device, but
1: Positive air pressure is not enough for cooling: one have to provide air outlets, and
2: Gluing PCBs to a case is a NO-NO, since it renders almost impossible to erplace or repair them. Also some glues can be corrosive to PCB traces. It would be better to solder longer 5 to 10mm wires between the modules and the main PCB to leave free space for cooling and for eventual wire cutters.

This can be more useful as a mini solar or wind power charging port with constant output. The inverter solves everything regarding electricity. Almost everyone has batteries these days, so there’s no problem about that.

Thank you very much. But I would like to ask, if the electricity goes out, only your modem will be active, has electricity, but the other devices such as printer and so on has no electricity, out of order and will be useless.🤔🤔🤔 Best wishes for the new year.

How often do you need to print while there is a power outage? This is pretty much for keeping your internet connection alive if you don't want to use cellular data. Most likely your phone will still have a charge.
