And 50 years later, in that timeline, you find out: humans no longer have any capacity for, or patience with, art. Or creativity. Because those things require an ability to imagine things not real, and _Homo Sapiens_ has changed. Humanity as a species has become fixated on the moment, on the concrete and tangible, on the practical things that are "confirmed" real. Children no longer play games, the elderly no longer go to church, and most of the things you can buy in the world, even the food itself, becomes a little more gray each year.

my favorite part of most "End of SCP" iterations is that most objects begin to abide by normal logic 173 becomes an inactive statue 096, 106, 682, and most 'living' organisms are either reduced to inanimate mush, or become basically elaborate corpses objects become their normal counterparts
Not really, 173's case is that he's found to be apart of a species kind of stuff, and him not moving is like a predatory kind of thing, kinda like that 1 eel that moves incredibly fast

This is an interesting one. This reminds me of an article I listened to once. So basically the foundation created a super computer that came up with containment procedures. And it was good! So good, it actually ended up not only predicting future containment breaches of many scps, it actually predicted a few attacks from the chaos insurgency. But that was just the beginning. It eventually became a full proof way of not only predicting containment breaches but a way of neutralizing any and all anomalies. But here is the catch, it’s proposed ways often included unethical or nonsensical practices. For example, for one anomaly, it proposed they line the entrance of site 76 with cat carcasses. When the ethics committee and eventually the council decided to reject many of it proposals, the computer slowly ended up either controlling them or making if them disappear. At the end I think the last 2 o5’s ended up designating the computer itself as an scp so that it would destroy itself when it was complete with all the other ones. I think I may have gotten a few of the details off but that is the jist of it. I don’t remember the designation but it is a very interesting article that you should def look into.

I like this scenario but I think it would’ve included the foundation saying that high ranking members of the Research Team would be staying on and a small number of the past SCP’s would’ve stayed so that they could study what happened and if they could possibly get their anomalous abilities back. And they also probably would’ve offered members of the research team to stay on if they wanted.
