Please pray for the youth leaders out there who watch this episode of On the Box and have the courage to test their hearts regarding whether or not they genuinely love the kids they're supposed to be witnessing to.
I couldnt help but explain Hell as part of the whole reasoning behind the Gospel and our need to be saved from the wrath of God upon our sins. My daughter was scared of how God can be angry but i turned it around and got her to see His power in defeating the devil. She loves the Lord even more now!
@ElmerAwesome Again you are putting words in my mouth. Teaching math and science in school is different than christianity for reasons I shouldn't have to go into. "pro-atheistic" thoughts are not taught in school that is just far-right christian paranoia. The kids you teach at sunday school are most definitely old enough to decide if Christianity is for them and I'm glad you don't use scare tactics.
I love your show, guys. I have a question about the evangelizing children situation. How do you respond to children if they might say "But my daddy said that you're wrong." or something like that? Do you tell them "No, your daddy's wrong" or just let it be? Assume that you can't find a way to talk to the parent. Is there another option I'm missing?
@ElmerAwesome evangelizing isn't indoctrinating notice how i said evangelizing children. "Children" is the key word. Telling a child who isn't old enough to make that kind of a decision for him/herself is wrong especially if it's the usual believe or perish in hell tactic
Sorry you got Mcnabb from my Redskins grew up a Bears fan (born in 82' so 85' bears influenced me) but became a redskins fan because of my bro and I live in VA so closer :)
@tapesquare You may not lie but you do not bring them to the truth. Why? Because you do not enter in and bar others from entering in. Everyone should get out of the Lord's way, including you. And in this case I agree with the former comment. Plant the seed and let the Lord bring the increase. :)
Haha the thing with the Jehovah's Witnesses was funny! See I have a big dog(really he is just a big puppy dog and really that is an understatement) and he is chained up in my garage all day and he scares everybody away.
@ElmerAwesome I don't think they touch on God in school. In other words the teachers don't say whether they believe or not, and to be honest since the majority of the country is Christian then most likely the majority of teachers are too. What "sins" are being taught in school?
Teach kids how to think, not what to think. Unfortunately, parents or grandparents who teach kids and grandkids what to think don’t know how to think, so the cycle will continue. If a kid who’s already been taught that there is a deity hasn’t also been taught the convincing counter-arguments against the claims of the existence of a deity, then the kid is being intellectually abused. Here’s the template: “Little Jonny, some people believe there is a god who made everything and everyone, and here is why they believe that…” (insert info here.) “Now, little Jonny, some people believe there is no god, and here is why they believe that there is no god…” (insert convincing counter arguments here.) Stop indoctrinating kids. Indoctrination is a sure path to non-critical thinking.
Wow I can't believe the bad reasoning in this, saying god killed the what's their name does not mean you assume his existence just as saying that allah is an evil god does not mean you believe in allah. I'm also impressed at how little thought they give to god killing people, of course if assume that god is good then everything he does is good, hero derp.
I would have much more respect for your religion if you would demonstrate why your religion is true instead of brainwashing people to believe in it before they are lod enough to make a rational choice in the matter.

Christian homeschooling is a great start!
A great start to indoctrinate children...
is alicia's stand alone uploaded yet? :) i want to watch it!
@Mirewood Yeah. I guess the point is to share the gospel and not force it. Plant the seed and let the Lord do His will.

@AussieMaleTuber Are you saying I shouldn't evangelize to children in this situation if I can't talk to their parents?

I also don't like people sticking stuff in my face. :-)

@overlordcacius Dude A baby has a heart beat at 28 days and sucks its thumb at 12 weeks! Tell me again it is not alive!

Hypocrite: pretends to have virtue but they do not in reality

Evangelizing children is pure child abuse and should be punished by jail!
