    Can you please provide a link to your prior video of removing the CTS C-pillars? I have searched and can not find it anywhere also maybe it's under another topic? Anyway I'm trying to replace my seat belt and really don't want to waste too much time or screw it up learning myself if I can learn how to do it properly from the outset. Thanks

      Thanks for reaching out and your question. I removed those sea pillar trim in the following video that I made to resolve plugged moon roof drains. Make sure you are subscribed! th-cam.com/video/pQKCsjNcr8w/w-d-xo.html

      @@DrivingIntelligence So thanks for that and I don't mean to be pedantic but it is referred to as a 'C' pillar in reference to alphabetical sequence the front pillar being 'A' the center being 'B' and yes finally the 'C' pillar.

      Yes, you are correct... was my use of the C-Pillar Term incorrect? Not sure I understand the motivation for your comment.

      @@DrivingIntelligence "C-Pillar" was correct, "sea-pillar" in the previous response above was my reference and I did see after the fact that you used the term correctly previously so it was curious why not this time? I guess we're all getting older and it sucks....BTW I did that more for those who may be reading and learning and not to be a d_ _ _.

    So how do you get in the trunk if the trunk is stuck?

      sorry for late reply... let me check on that for you.

      What do you mean by "stuck" ? Dead battery? Just won't unlock? Girlfriend wants out? Please be more specific? Never mind, it doesn't really matter, there is an emergency release handle in the center fold down armrest, fold the armrest down and then there is a secret door that opens into your trunk with a latch at the top, open it and reach through and reach up behind the seat partition and there is a latch located there, pull it and your trunk should open manually.

    Just hoping to find a way to get into my car from inside the trunk. I locked my keys in, no lock out service late xmas night. I know how to open the rear back seats from the inside of the car but I can't figure out how to from inside the trunk

      If you’re in the trunk you can remove the bolts holding the seat back in, but the speaker shelf is going to be a problem.

      Someone found my keys in parking lot behind my car the next morning. He said he knocked that day, but I was in bed, got up quickly but he was gone really fast. Seems he could have left a not, come back later that,day or hung them on our note clips by our door, I guess I wasn't supposed to go anywhere@@DrivingIntelligence

    What size is the bolt on the rear seatbelt panels????

      @DrivingIntelligence  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm recalling from memory, but I believe you need a 10mm deep well socket.

    Do you recall what size that sub is?

    • @DrivingIntelligence
      @DrivingIntelligence  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I knew at one time because I wanted to add a little more power. It is a nonstandard size with odd bolting.

      @@DrivingIntelligence thanks mine is blown and my 2 front door speakers I’ll probably just leave the sub as is and throw subs in the trunk or replace with another sub from another cts and still throw more subs in the trunk🤣
