¡Eres increíble men! Tu partida en solitario me flipo la cabeza, la introducción con esa maquininita de sonido es realmente genial, te felicito. Saludos desde el fin del mundo, Chile.
Found this channel because I wanted to find a actual play. Crazy that this can happen, it feels so real how no matter how good you’re doing some random fluke can just destroy it all. Keep it up!
Can you change your channel to “AaTDW play throughs every day all the time”? Subscribed. Best play thru series for this game I’ve seen. Question - could you have used all your Luck to “negate this killing blow” or at least have rolled a Pilot Skill check to get out of there? The Luck rule is written kind of open ended.
Thanks for the sub! I am working through my game list but am aiming to get back to AATDW soon. I think using luck or piloting in that way isn't unreasonable in a case like this. I believe burning luck to survive is intended for combat, but it is solo play after all :)
I'm with blackoath I loved it. Laughed my ass off when you got destroyed. Sorry. Like how you are doing the minimalist approach. No pre generated sheets just a log book. Story wise maybe the ship that scanned you had some thing to do with the jump coordinates. Are you going to log some story elements? Keep it up I'll be happy to watch more.
Thank you!! I’m sure the colossal ship either changed Hugh’s jump path, or the occupants wished the poor bastard luck as he sped past their “warning: danger” messages. Definitely going to keep weaving in more story; this universe is intriguing!
Well some thoughts: 1- There is at least one game designers in the world how loved the fact in the 1st edition of Mark Miller's Traveler you could die in character creation. I understand that he did not die IN character creation, but that ending is close enough for Jazz. 😮😂😂 2- Guess the company, (Drake??) does not need to worry about their fiendish plot to drive the brothers out of business being discovered and any lawsuits that could arise from that. 3- Han was right.😂😂😂😂😂 Thanks this was good.
@@MsGorteck Thanks for watching! Definitely not what I was expecting going in to the session but it gave me a real chuckle 🤭. Hammers home how not-in-control humans are in the cold void of space.
The pdf is available at Blackoathgames.com and drivethrurpg.com for $20. There is also a Preview pdf for free on Blackoath’s site with character generation rules, along with other online randomizers that you can use to cobble together the main gameplay loop. The hardcover is a bit pricier at $50-60 but it is a gorgeous book (Ennie-nominated for cover art!).
I love solo random games for this reason. They rarely disappoint.

@@elorcosolitario9391 thank you for the kind words :)
This is the first documented case of someone rolling that result, haha. I'm sorry, but I love it! Thanks for the video!
Glad to hear I’m the first 😂

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! Haha I wanted to get deeper into Hugh’s storyline, but crazy stuff is the best part of solo play. Onto the next :)
And so we learn the hard lesson of why traveling through hyper space ain't like dusting crops.
Ahhh so thats what hazard pay means
Well it turns out you didn't need the extra oxygen or supplies after all!
Shoulda packed more sunscreen
Love the synth. Retro looking.
Glad you like it! Volcas are so fun to noodle around with
Nice Volca! :D Love it!
Thank you! Its a blast to jam with
As soon as I heard that 1… I’m like. Nope. That’s the reason for the short video.

Hhm, call me a conspiracy theorist, but this “cannot be a coincidence©️”. I’d suspect Drake Corp to have tampered with the vessel‘s destination. I know it’s technically not supposed to be possible, but if it can be done, it’s most likely the eggheads in DC’s R&D department.
Idea for your next character: Send grumpy investigator Joe Miller and his magic fedora to investigate the getting disappeared of two brothers.
Twin Peaks in Karum Station.
Wouldnt surprise me if Drake Industries is hiding some secret Arisadh tech knowledge
Finally nice to see someone with the same kind of luck I have 🤣
2% of the time, it happens every time
So next is his brother Louie searching for Hughie, soon to be followed by their brother Dewey?

Oh yeah they could have been warning him!! I like that a lot.
Algorithm sent me a game video but I clicked for the synth.

Where did you acquire your copy of this game? Seems tough to find for a reasonable price.

I thought this was a Volca Modular demo lol, youtube's algorithm is sometimes cheeky.
Haha i love mixing rp with other activities, might as well make the video as niche as possible lol
Ok, so looking through solo rpg channels, and you are using modular synths as solo playthroughs? Couldn’t hit subscribe fast enough.
@@rogerniner Thank you! Target audience reached 😂
