Absolutely love this! The results are beautiful, both the colors and the sounds! I will be collecting dandelion seeds when I’m walking the dog this morning. ❤❤
I’m so glad you like them. Great time to collect some dandelion seeds! You can store some in a box for later, too.
Thanks for watching 😊❤️
Lots of beautiful papers! I love this technique, thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome! Glad you liked them ❤️
Never get bored watching you and your wonderful "experiments". Love the using of napkins because we all have to much of them 😅😅😅
Thank you so much Steffi! Glad you enjoyed it. I have way too many napkins and I love using them😃❤️
Beautiful!
Thank you so much! 😊❤️
Love these pages...especially that blue, red, & Yellow one! Coffee & Napkin are awesome!
Thanks so much! Glad you liked them 😊❤️
As always, your talent never disappoints... I absolutly love these and cannot wait to make some!
Wow, thank you so much for your kind comment! I’m really glad you enjoyed the video 😊❤️
You should try putting the clear glue on a sheet and then sprinkling small amounts of Brusho onto the wet glue and see how it reacts. :)
Thank you! It sounds interesting 😊❤️
What is Brusho?
@@patriciagechei8145 Brusho is a unique painting medium. The colours are a transparent, highly-pigmented watercolour ink that comes packed in small drums which contain the dry, crystalline powder. Available in an extensive range of colours, they mix instantly with cold water.
Thank you for the answer😊
@@patriciagechei8145 You're very welcome!
I love this, Dragana!!! The gold spray over blue is everything 🙌🏻 I finally did your button project & have a whole storage box of beautiful unique buttons now. I can’t wait to try this! I don’t have butcher paper but I will look through my stash & see what I can experiment with. Thank you for sharing! 😊
You’re very welcome! Glad you made some buttons! I hope you try this, too. Any thin paper could work such as newsprint or tissue paper. 😊❤️
Thank you for such a great, easy-to-follow tutorial. Love the effects! Pretty napkin
You are so welcome! Thank you very much for watching and for your kind comment 😊❤️
These papers are great!!! So many variations possible. TFS! Austin TX USA
You’re very welcome! Glad you like them! ❤️😊
Love this ,shall have to try it.
Thank you so much 😊❤️
Dragena, think I’ll put my 4 yr old granddaughter to work making some,of these papers for us to use. Like the solutions you’ve made. I’ll definitely try using some clear glue this time, for I love the crackle sound the paper makes, much like when I coffee dye paper. Thanks for the tips and ideas. The papers you showed us are gorgeous. Better I put a smock on the little one, so we don’t mess up her play clothes. Her mama would be happy.
Oh yes, this is definitely a nice project to do with kids. Have fun and don’t make too much mess 😊❤️
Love them Dragana, they turned out awesome. 💜
I have some red ruffled tulips with black and yellow centers, have been drying them in the microwave as they die off, so will try them out with this method. 🌷🌷🌷
Just love the dandelion seeds, so gonna have to leave some of those before mowing over them as well, lol. 😊
I purposely didn't mow a small section of the yard, as it's filled with "wild" pansy's or "Johnny Jump-ups" as we call them. There are white with deep purple outer pedals, and then there's also a light purple/lavender color, they dry well. Now if we could just get a break with rain and severe weather I can get out and pick some, it's on the list for today, I just saw the sun a minute ago, so now's the time, lol.🌄🌅☀
Another fun video, have a wonderful day/evening... whatever time it is when you see this 💜🥴💜
Hi Carol! I’m so glad you enjoyed the video. Hope the weather turns nice and sunny for you today. It was lovely here, after weeks of rain and cold. I spent all afternoon weeding the roses. I am happy now, but my back is sore 😆. It was worth it though. Thank you so much for watching and for your comment. Love it! 😊❤️
I did enjoy this and I am always inspired by your projects. These papers are lovely. They will be a great addition to any journal no matter how you use them. Thank you so much for sharing.
You’re very welcome! Glad you liked them. Thanks for watching and commenting ❤️😊
Thank you for sharing your process with the world. You do have the kindest voice too. Greetings from Wales :)
So nice of you! Thank you very much! ❤️
You’re such an amazing inspiration dear, found myself doing this though I did it on colored papers but was so much fun 😍 thank you so much.🤍🤍🤍
You’re very welcome! Glad you found it helpful. I bet your version with colored papers looks beautiful! Great idea!
These look great! The dandelions are priceless, can’t wait to give it a try. Thanks for sharing!
You’re very welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video 😊❤️
Thank you for showing your process to make these papers. I love how they came out. They would make wonderful cards also.
You are so welcome! Glad you like them! Thank you for watching 😊❤️
Another beautiful project and I thought of how to colour the handmade papers and now I think you gave me inspiration Thankyou Dragana ❤
You’re very welcome Christine! Glad it was helpful 😊❤️
These papers came out so beautifully. And the sound is awesome & crinkly. Would love to see you use the cutoff excess strips to create some really interesting woven paper 🤔 I did some woven paper card designs recently & found that dry embossing some & dipping the long edges of others in ink then weaving them randomly, or gilding the long edges with some paint or wax created some really interesting patterns & textures in the weave. Creates pages that are great for backgrounds, journal covers or cards. I also plan to use one that has some strips of 2 different embossed patterns interspersed randomly with plain card strips as a texture stamp on my Gelli Plate - as well as the random embossed bits, you get the texture of the vertical & horizontal strips too. Would love to see what you could do with this idea. You create such beautiful things 😊
Love this idea! Thank you so much for sharing it with me. I am sure I will try it sometime. ❤️❤️❤️
This is a great idea to make your own papers, I'll definitely try it. Thankyou for your inspiration as always ❤️
You’re very welcome! Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for watching 😊❤️
Awesome, thank you and I am going to have fun making this kind of painted paper.🎉
I really enjoy making cards
You’re very welcome! Hope you give it go! Have fun creating 😊❤️
Love it and love the crackle it makes on the paper
Thank you so much ❤️😊
Soo Beautiful Dragana ❤👌
Thank you so much for sharing!
Love your videos ❤and always look much forward to them!
My pleasure! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for watching and for your kind comment ❤️😊
Yes!!!! I love these and I find it hard to find papers like these - they used to be around 20 years ago maybe?! I have wanted to find them but now I know I need to make them! Thank you for showing how. And I love the dandelion seeds - I better go get some of ours too 😂
Glad you enjoyed the video! Go and get some dandelions before they disappear 😀. They keep well, too. You can dry the flower heads before they turn to seeds, too. 😊
@@Saacibo as soon as i saw your video I went outside and collected them in a jar. And yes I have dried some of the yellow ones too - did it for the dandelion challenge - they came out very different - was interesting!
Love it, looks kind of like leather with the wrinkled texture ❤
Now that you mention it, it really does look like leather. Thanks for watching ❤️😊
28:37 I can totally relate to the feeling of excitement in the morning when you know that soon results of your previous evening’s work will be revealed. That is true ever for mornings when I wake up reluctantly. I am instantly energized and ready to get up once I remember something is waiting for me downstairs beside my hungry cat. ♥♥♥
Oh, yes! I am usually the first one up, I start the coffee, feed the cats, dogs and fish and by the time I finish feeding them my coffee is ready. I love to have that first cup by myself in my craft room, looking at the previous day work. It’s the best time of the day for me 😊❤️
❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉again this paper designs are wonderful 🎉 Thank you for this. Eh hem…… coffee smell is amazing, and I applaud you “for one cup less”, however…. Warm Coffee just is the right beverage…FOR ME🙋🏻♀️💜☺️LOL
Thank you so much! Glad you liked the video. Oh, I just had to have more coffee later on. If I don’t get my fill in the morning I crave it all day 😂😂😂
These turned out beautifully! Thank you for sharing your process. You are a wonderful teacher. ❤️
You are so welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for your kind comment ❤️😊
💜💜💜
Love it. Will have to save the dandelion seeds. 😊
I’m glad! Thanks so much for watching 😊❤️
TFS Very interesting and am excited to try it!
Wonderful! Thank you so much for watching 😊❤️
Love this process! I work at a grocery store, so will definitely need to ask our meat department for a few pieces of butcher paper to try this out! And the dandelion seeds added was awesome! Thank you for sharing!
You’re very welcome! Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching 😊❤️
Fantastic idea. Thank you for sharing your process!
You are so welcome! Glad you enjoyed it 😊❤️
Love it. I think your way is a better way. Thanks!
Glad you like them! Thank you so much for watching ❤️😊
Such beautiful papers, thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching 😊❤️
The deli paper i got in lil bits was more transparent than yours but i think I'll try that with this technique, actual tissue wrapping papers and sprays. ❤❤
Oooo the inspiration! TY TY!
You’re very welcome! Oh, I love experimenting so If I had deli papers in different thickness I’d definitely try them all 😊❤️
I love your creative ideas 🥰🙏🏼
Glad you like them! Thanks so much for watching 😊❤️
Fabulous . Enjoyed the process and end result ❤
So glad! Thank you very much 😊❤️
Love this idea. Thank you so much for this project. I will doing this very soon.
You are so welcome! Glad you enjoyed it ❤️😊
These papers are just so a pretty. I am inspired!!
I’m so glad! Thank you for watching 😊❤️
Always wonderful tutorials! Thanks for sharing your amazing talent.
My pleasure! Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️😊
Omg, i saw on Pinterest and wanted to learn how to do properly. I can't believe that you did a video on it today!!! Its beautiful ❤❤❤ my lucky day finding you!
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video! Thank you for your kind comment ❤️😊
@Saacibo thank you again, your directions are perfect came out beautiful for my Journaling. 🩷🩷🩷
You are great. I love you work 🥰👍👍👍🇩🇰
Thank you so much 😀❤️
Wow, amazing results!❤
Glad you think so! Thank you for watching ❤️😊
These are all wonderful!
Thank you so much ❤️😊
👍🧡
Since the white paper backing could act as a white core, I wonder what these would look like if pieces were embossed and then the embossed parts were lightly sanded? I think I'll have to experiment!
Sounds interesting! I haven’t tried but it’s worth while experimenting. Have fun 😊
AMAZING!!!! REALY LOVED!!!!
I’m so glad! Thank you very much ❤️😊
Is this paper coated or same on both sides? These are beautiful papers. Thanks for sharing.
You’re very welcome! My papers seemed the same on both sides and I don’t think they were coated at all. Thank you so much for watching 😊❤️
What surface did you dry it in so it wouldn’t have a shiny backing? Love these!
I used tissue paper, also called deli or butcher’s paper. It is a bit shiny but not too much 😊
bellissimi grazie 😍😍😍
You’re very welcome ❤️😊
Love these papers, would it work if added mica powders? as dont have the inks and I have tons of mica powders in many colours. love this video, thank you 🤩🤩
I don’t have mica powder, but if I ever get some I would definitely try 😊
I have a question/ why do you stack a paper over the one that you just coated with coffee / glue? Your papers are beautiful! Tyfs!
Thank you! I wait until they are completely dry and then I stack them all one on top of the other to flatten them. 😊
Brilliant..can we use alcohol inks as well..plse advise..
Thank you! I think I mentioned in the video that alcohol inks are not suitable for this. You can certainly try. Thank you for watching ❤️
Todos bellos❤
Thank you ❤️
Thanks a lot for sharing your talent. It is really inspiring ✨
So...tissue paper...I wonder how it is called in French 🤔 There is a big store not far from my home which sells all kind of papers, doillies, and wrapping stuff and bags...for restaurants and other stores. I probably will find it in such a place 😄
You’re very welcome! Glad it inspired you. This paper is also called deli paper or butcher’s paper. It’s thin and a little shiny. Sometimes it’s used as wrapping paper, too. I hope you find it 😊
nice project!! can I use the wood glue?
Perhaps you could if it’s a slow drying and water based glue. However, I would recommend inexpensive craft glue, preferably clear. White is ok, but it’s going to give different result.
Great tutorial as usual, thank you so much. I'm having difficulty in the US finding a comparable paper. QUESTION DRAGANA: Can you tell me if your butcher paper is waxed or unwaxed? This might help in my search. Thank you.
Thank you so much! I think that my paper is unwaxed, or at least it doesn’t feel like it is waxed. There’s only one type available here, and they don’t really specify on the label if it’s waxed or not. Literal translation would be “greasy paper” - but it doesn’t feel greasy to me. It is a little bit shiny though. Hope this helps in your search. Sorry I don’t have a definitive answer 😊
Thank you. That helps a great deal.
Does it matter which side of the paper is used?
💜 Thank you for sharing! 💜
You are so welcome ❤️😊
These are beautiful!! Do you think this would work with sprinkling mica powders over the last layer? I love gold and mica powders. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much! I think it would work with mica powders. I would love to see your results if you try this 😊❤️
Do you iron the papers you coffee dyed? They look so pretty! Everything I have coffee dyed is so wrinkled that I am thinking about ironing them.
I didn’t iron these. I’ve flattened them for a few hours as shown in the video towards the end 😊❤️
Do you use the waxy side of butcher paper or is it not really like freezer paper? Is your paper porous?
I don’t know if my paper is waxed or not, sorry. It doesn’t say so on the label and it doesn’t seem like it is. It’s the same on both sides. It is a little shiny, though. The literal translation of the label would be “greasy paper” but it isn’t really oily and it can’t be used for baking. It’s not porous either. It’s very much like tissue paper but a bit thicker. Hope this helps.😊
Is this product available online? Not sure if butcher shops or deli cafes use similar paper in the USA. I have tried the all tissue faux/glue and the cornstarch binding methods and prefer the papery texture over faux rice paper outcomes. Anxious to try this clear glue and "tissue" backed method. Hoping to find comparable paper to try.
Where do we buy the butcher paper? Or Is this the same as parchment paper?
I’m curious about this too. I think parchment paper is waxed or has a nonstick film whereas there are butcher papers that are not nonstick
I buy butcher paper in craft shops, newsagents and sometimes bookstores that sell art supplies. My papers are not nonstick, I don’t think they are waxed at all, just a bit shiny and same on both sides. Sometimes florists use it, too. I found new shoes wrapped in it sometimes, although that one seems a bit thinner. I think they are used in kindergartens for children to draw, too. I would experiment with any paper that is similar, including newsprint 😊
@@Saacibo Thank you Dragana! I tried what I have, the paper that clerks wrap glass items I’ve bought & it worked! I love the result! 😁
What paints did you use?
I used inks and coffee. 😊
ARE THOSE RICE PAPERS?
No, but they look a lot like rice paper, don’t they? They are actually made with napkins, glue and tissue paper 😊
This is thicker than tissue paper in 🇺🇸 and you mentioned deli paper which is thicker.
@@linda9918 I guess it’s called different in different countries. In Australia we called it deli or butcher’s paper. Where I live now it’s called tissue paper. The thickness might be different but I would use any of these for this project. The final result might be slightly different and I think that is ok 😊
