Man I cant thank you enough! I ended up getting Tein coilovers to lower my ride and in doing so i ended up messing up my inner tie rods as well as ate up the inside of my front wheels. Been to a couple of places to get it seen and most of them said I need to remove my coilovers and get new inner and outer tie rods for me to get a proper alignment. I didn't know I need aftermarket inner tie rods to fix the problem. This will save me from buying a whole new suspension kit just to get a proper alignment, Thank you !
@@GlazeDc5 oh no I just got done purchasing them. I did notice they have new versions of the K tune though, it’s spherical! Lol not sure if it’s the same one that you had to replace? Definitely glad there are channels like yours so new RSX owners don’t have to reinvent the wheel, again thank you.
The with ktuned is too much play where the arm connects to the rack. It should be stiff unfortunately they are not. Just make sure you have s trust worthy alignment guy who can align cars modified for track
Nice low key D2 advert, hahaha seriously tho good to hear they are a good option for the beloved dc5 platform! Exceptional info about proper adjusting for lowering the rsx too (didn't know about the stock tie rod issue) Much respect Glaze!
Subscribing to your channel because you seem to give good genuine advice and your car looks badass. I have a VBP 2006 RSX-S and I'm having suspension issues, gonna buy some stuff that you've mentioned.
Great video, I just bought a type s last week. Just checking out what people have to say about the rsx, this is all super helpful if I decide to do anything to it! Thanks
I have an 05 RSX. Doing a suspension upgrade as well. I just remember buying it new with 4 miles on it. Seems a life time ago. Nice video, thanks for the info.
Great video bro. Just bought a RSX Monday and just need help figuring other best things to buy for it but this helped.. wish TH-cam had messages so I can contact you on what to get and what not lol
Depends on how low. I would definitely upgrade that ball joint (not ktuned). Also some energy suspension bushings would be a great idea for the front lca. These cars are old so start looking to replace these things since you have lowered the car on probably old joints
@@GlazeDc5 yeah I ended up buying the Buddy Club p1 extended ball joints and HardRace adjustable tie Rod ends (reverse). Just trying to get it rolling smooth seeing what’s next. Like a SHG rack slider, what else
@@GlazeDc5what makes you say not ktuned? Is there a problem with them? Looking to overhaul my RSX suspension and have lots of ktuned parts in the cart currently
The cheaper ktuned ones i believe are not adjustable, you were probably better off going with oem at that point or hardrace. I had to replace my ktuned adter a year. It should work but you wont know for sure until you get an alignment
Another thing you should add is a shg steering rack slider, improves the steering wheel feel and greatly reduces the infamous bump steer
Already did and its amazing

Glad i can help man, good luck. Best advice i can give is go with hardrace. Stay away from ktuned. Already replaced mine twice

Thanks for this video, really helps actually see the mods after you talked about them 💯
Rear sway bar is def on my list & maybe rear LCAs
Very welcome
I agree this helps
@@alexnazario8335 Two years or so later I still haven't done this 😅 Got Coils, camber bolts + rear camber kit & that was it for suspension.

What other things are you considering?
What would you say are the first things that should be done after lowering on coilovers? RCA’s (ball joints), reverse tie Rod ends etc..?

Super informative bro, good vid
Glad you enjoyed! Thx for the support
@@GlazeDc5 always bro 💪🏼
Can you make a list of the parts in the description
@GlazedDc5 I bought the cheaper ktuned tie rods with new Honda oem tie rod ends will that work on a lowered base model?

How are you. Nice video. Can you send me the list of everything. If you don’t mind.
Sorry i dont have a list
Are these applicable with the base model?
Absolutely
what about changing the front sway bar ?
I havent done that yet
You want to keep the front one stock, helps the front end bite more in a corner.
Do the D2 coilovers make your car low like the BC coilovers?
Yup!
Hey bro what brake kit do you have just got my rsx and my brake lines don’t go into my mc
Finishing lines is the company
Which hard race ball joints did you get? They have 3 different ones
