Certainly been a huge variation of locomotives and cars. Really enjoyable to watch. Many thanks. Uk weather hasnt been as bad as the yellow warning suggested.
Thanks Robina! I'm glad to hear you caught a break with the weather. We are about to get the aftermath of Hurricane Helene on Friday. They are saying 45 MPH winds and maybe 4 inches of rain too! Yikes!
Great video Scott. More importantly, congratulations on the new granddaughter. I'm sure that's one proud and happy family there, including grandparents.
Wow! Excellent catching all the trains, I like them, they're awesome, @1960gambit, Scott, thank you very much and have a nice day and night, and be really careful because of hurricane Helene.
The Blue Ash Creeper has gorgeous power! Congratulations on finally catching it, Scott! And congrats on leaving Hamilton when you said you were going to. Finally. 😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤😂😂😂
Congratulations Scott on your second grandchild. I have two about grown now. Love the I & O. Glad you caught that one. I also like the Tropicana car. Don’t think I ever saw the NS engine with the blue front before. That was cool! Super video Scott. ❤
Thanks Margie! I like the colors of the I&O locomotives too. They look really good when they are clean! Hope you are in a safe place down there with the hurricane coming in today!
We had two awesome mixed manifests in a row to close with. The first was 143 cars, and the second had 93. I believe both had vintage cars among their freight, and the second had an untagged TTX box car. Just a fabulous mix of freight betwwen the two of them. The CSX power on the first train sounded so cool 😎 as it started to power up. I love that sound! ❤ Thank you so much, Scott. 😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤
Good made video, mr 1960gambit. Congratulations grandpa. Nice that you made this video for your followers in the U.S.A. and Europa. I call you now in Dutch: ouwe opa.Thx for this topvideo 🚆🚆👍💪💪👍👌🚆🚆 on several spots in Ohio. Greet from Zandvoort the Netherlands.
Morning grandad! 06.25am cats outside playing, coffee pot on feet up watch the show before the day begins. Have a great day everyone. Fab trains Scott, especially watching the train start rolling in Lockland it soon got up to speed & it was a long one! 😊❤👍
Good times my friend. Just wait until we can take the grandkids railfanning. Can't wait to introduce my grandson to big boy. Congratulations and really like the I&O 😊❤
Thank you for the spectacular video Scott! You caught some exceptional trains in this one! I enjoyed them more than I can put into words. Thank you again! Good luck, if there is such a thing, on your car search. I need to get busy. I'll talk to you later. 😃😃😃😃😃😃❤❤❤❤❤❤
Yes, Scott number 4000 and 4001 was the first two - nines that Norfolk Southern converted from DC to AC traction and not long ago I saw in one of your videos number 4865 so they have converted 865 locomotives from DC to AC power and they said they can rebuild them for less than half the price of a new locomotive but anyway, my friend another awesome video and as always you stay safe out there and watch your back and we’ll see you on the next one
The other thing about AC motors is that they are 3 phase and have incredible starting torque and less maintenance issues too over DC. I can believe it costs a lot less to rebuild them than buy new. Those locomotives are not cheap at all!
Scott I lived in blue ash as a kid and used to watch the Cincinnati,Lebanon and northern line with FM diesels on the pennsy rr,it's a shame that they cut the line. Dave in Knoxville,TN.
I agree. That line should have never been cut South of Mason. That had to be one of the biggest bonehead decisions ever. It`s right up there with cutting the B&O at Greenfield instead of leaving it connected at Chillicothe. I never understood that decision either! Thanks for watching!
OK that second one is a definite first 3 cyro tankers and together on a single pull that's the first i've seen that! the best before that was 2 tankers on a pull and not together! and if blue ssh ain't a tree i want to know what they're burning that makes blue ash!
Congratulations to mother and child, a new railfan in the Gambit household!!❤
Thanks Brian! Yep, I`m gonna have to get her and her brother out to the tracks ASAP!

Awesome action on the rails! Did ya have to catch a nap, on a ghost mattress, from the empty lot to wait out the traffic?
No, I didn`t but I did sit on the wall there for a long while! Lol
How many grandkids you have now Scott?
I now have 2. I never thought I would have any, but I have been blessed with 2!

No clue on the Blue Ash. I`ve lived here my whole life and never gave it a thought as to how that town got its name! Lol
