Vevor Mini Lathe MX 400 Part 4 - Final Setup and Unpacking of Included Accessories

I threw caution in the wind and purchased a VEVOR Mini Lathe despite all the negative reviews. Model MX 400 starting to unpack accessories.

Those tools are brazed carbide tips and need to run in on a grinder before use to take the edge off and define the cutting surface.....and get yourself some 6061 aluminum to learn on

Hey mate, from Australia and this video, I am watching about 12 months after ya posted. But can I recommend you look at Abom77, BlondieHacks, especially Blondie's intro to machining series. There's nothing wrong with the tooling, but the problems with the operator lol. These machines can't handle heavy cuts on steel, it's a hobby machine, so aluminium, brass, bronze, plastic. Slow and minute cuts on softer materials will teach you about speeds and feeds. I do hope that you enjoy your new hobby
