    One can only dream. Indeed a good list and probably well priced if money is not a problem. Would love to try the Springbank. Cheers. Great video as always

    What’s nice to see is that the professional appraiser classified the estimated values at 400-600, but since the secondary market is overheated, these true values seem like a bargain. Great video and analysis as always.

    We have a bottle of the Port Ellen 12 Yo on open on the bar at the Jolly Farmers. It's beautiful!

    Would like to see a video for maybe sub £200.00 bottles, most of my monthly allocation goes into gold and some other investments. I enjoy whisky and I am interested in starting a collection that in years to come might be worth something and both my father and I (both being whisky lovers) would love to get a cask one day.
    However I have seen two of your videos now with recommendations of investment bottles and they all seem to be recommending the £400+ area. I don't think I feel confidant enough to go and put £400+ of my money into a bottle over say £400 worth of gold. So would love to see a video with some cheaper bottles for real newbies like myself to dip our toes into even if they are more speculative than their pricier counterparts. Anyway you have a new sub keep it up :)

      Hey - at that price you are either best sticking to gold or essentially just buy some modern bottles on release. Gold is unique as you can buy small parts of the same product, i.e 1g, 10g etc. With whisky releases you need to pay more quite often to get a good product.

    Hi Mark, great video as always. I'm faced with buying a bottle of Glendronach 27 year 1992 UK exclusive single cask #182 for £425 or a Glenfarclas 30 Warehouse Edition for £489.99. Both could be worthy contenders for this list too I suppose, but of the two, which would you pick? The Glendronach does have a higher ABV than the Glenfarclas and is more rare in the sense that it's 1 of 613 bottles only, however the presentation of the Glenfarclas is probably more desirable in the Warehouse style box.

      I'm after a glendronach 92. Good price

      Hey - for me it would be the Glenfarclas. I really think Glenfarclas are going to flourish soon.
      The Warehouse edition bottles are really well presented too - and much nice than just a tube.
      Put it this way - I have a GF 30 already - so I've put my money where my mouth is.

      @@MarkLittler I ended up getting the Glendronach as well as the Glenfarclas 1986 Refill Sherry Cask you mentioned too. Would you say that has bigger growth potential being higher ABV, being released with a limited number of 1094 bottled and coming from only 2 casks? It is shy of 30 years old though being just slightly under at 29 years (just off by a few months).

      Put them away for 12 years.
      Would you get then 1 X 25 years each or a 1x 40 year to share ?

      @MarkLittler  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@peterba854 I think the 25 is sold out now sadly.
      I would say if you can stretch get them a 30YO each...
      Failing that a Macallan 18 Sherry Oak 2022...they are around £450 each at the min
