My uncle has a 6-seater 75D. It’s really nice in comfort. Not very sporty in ride fell but it’s very smooth. I love the falcon-wing doors, even low clearance heights aren’t they much of an issue

You want the fastest SUV with luxurious features like air suspension, falcon door , top tech EV for 65k 🤔 I can’t afford a 100k car that’s why I bought model y for 50k. Model x plaid definitely worth 110-120k. I do not think it’s over priced at all. Bentley and aston martin are 200k+ cars which is 2-3 times more price than a mode x and model x is much much more value for the money compared to those brands.

10:02 actually power doesn't drop at all 0-60. Even at 20% it will do 2.3. One guy on youtube raced plaid on drag strip at 66% and it literally had the same 1/4 time as it does at 100%. I'm blown away with s and x plaid incredible car. Steering feel is subjective from person to person but the best comparison would be to test side by side. Every car steering is different doesn't mean it's worse or better could be just different. Plaid has great steering. I would say that plaid is very good competitor to urus and cayenne gt regardless of price. Great video parker i always liked your style of videos.
That's not the reason. The power absolutely does drop as SOC drops. The only way it wouldn't is if you up amps as SOC drops to compensate for the voltage drops as the SOC gets lower. The reason 0-60 is the same at lower states of charge is that the car makes so much power that it is absolutely traction limited up to 60 mph. The Plaid does not make maximum power until it reaches a speed at which it is not traction limited. 1/4 times totally drop as SOC drops on S Plaid. 20% is like 9.7 seconds vs 9.2 at 100%.

Brooks at drag times did 2.9 60 and 9.9 at 10% charge in an S plaid and with any Tesla back to back runs you will gradually watch your mph drop and 1/8 as well as quarter mile times get longer.
The model x plaid seems more practical as an suv family vehicle. Sure the model s looks better and is slightly faster, but still, it’s only a few fractions of a second. Seems like a great vehicle, great review Parker!

It’s very dangerous to drive that fast in the canyons. I live where he filmed. There are cyclists all over and you really have to watch out for them. The video was amazing. It felt like I was in the car with him. Amazing!

Tesla then creates and sells the world’s fastest SUV, the Tesla Model X Plaid which runs a 0-60 somewhere in between 2.3 to 2.7 seconds and a quarter mile in the 9’s. Some people say, we shouldn’t focus on 0-60 or 1/4 times anymore, electric is lame, and there’s no noise factor. I say, if you have never driven a Plaid, you really need to! I was against electric vehicles myself until I owned a Tesla Model X. I have driven a Model S Plaid and it’s an incredible vehicle. I have a Model X Plaid on order and I’m super excited that this video was made. Tesla makes amazing vehicles and electric is the future. Great video!
How long have you owned your car ? All new cars are exciting the first 6 months tops. Then it's a used car. Just wait till you have to pay for Tesla only maintenance. If something goes wrong down the road and it's not under warranty forget about it. The best is when the battery doesn't hold a charge as long. Just like your smartphone and your laptop. Then you're gonna say that V-8 was great all those years for a reason. Anyone could work on it and trade it in no problem or lease one and have a new one ever 2 or 3 years. Give it time you will see.
Thanks for showing a typical drive in this vehicle. People are so up in arms over the yoke but I like it so much more than a regular wheel. I hated having to always slightly duck to see the gauges when I drove my old gas car (I own a model 3 now). It's really nice to not have an obstructed view of the front screen.
Tesla's claims for 0-60 and 1/4 mile for the Model X are REALLY understated. The Plaid powertrain was more designed and prioritized for the Model S to get an insane time which is why they say 1.99 with rollout, etc. For the Model X, they just slapped some stats on there website knowing damn well the Model X will in fact run closer 2.2-3 seconds 0-60 and 9.6-8 in the 1/4 mile.

Man, this Plaid can pull an Urus on the hook 0-60 quicker than the Cayenne GT It is also quicker than the lighter Lucid Performance with more horse power according to Dragtimes.
I've driven that section of Stunt Rd. In Calabasas about 500 times. The section where Parker did the launch has a slight downhill grade, maybe 2-3 degrees. Probably cut a tenth or two off the time.
The faster these cars go, the higher all of our voices get 😂 even in my Y long range, flooring it makes me laugh and say something ridiculous every time

Second row needs foldaway arm rests. I hope Tesla or some after market company offers them prior to my expected X Plaid delivery in July. My friend changed from a six to seven seat on his MXLR because of that. (or... perhaps a removable console?).
I was confused at First about why earlier in the video you kept turning the yoke back and forth and your X didn't swerve or nothing but when you're driving later you barely turn the Yoke and you turn properly is there like a sensitivity difference between the different modes

Seems that steering with the joke is nervous. I see you have to do steering corrections in each corner. When I enter a corner with my Model 3 I don't need to do any corrections.
Dear TH-cam. Please take down videos that have youtubers doing dangerous stunts. Doing high speed tests on active windy roadways is bad and encourages others into dangerous public stunts.
I will never get over that steering wheel. It's absolutely ridiculous and serves no purpose whatsoever, in fact it diminishes what every other steering wheel on the market right now offers in terms of comfort and handling.

Timewise it's close. But in G's of acceleration - it is a lot. The difference between 1.99 and 2.3 will feel like between 10 seconds 0-60 time and 6 = 4 seconds!

Timewise it's close. But in G's of acceleration - it is a lot. The difference between 1.99 and 2.3 will feel like between 10 seconds 0-60 time and 6 = 4 seconds!
