Well .. I think this model X is even more cool than the normal plaid 👍🏼 but to compare it with the G63 or Urus .. hmm I don’t know? It depends on it’s Off-road abilities I guess .

This is currently my dream vehicle! 3 rows, gaming, falcon wings, self opening/closing doors, hepa filter, air suspension & fastest acceleration, I can go on & on. Nothing comes close!

not liking it. Little things like the horn, how you go forward and back, the steering wheel (its better to be able to move the steering from any angle and hold on to it in any position). They look like they'd get annoying. Like the car but wouldn't get it. They went weird with the design.

Just to correct something you said:
Model X:
20” wheels 348 miles of range
22” wheels 330 miles of range
Model X Plaid
20” wheels 333 miles of range
22” wheels 311 miles of range
The Plaid doesn’t have more range than the long range. You were comparing plaid with 20” wheels to long range with 22” wheels.

You believe this hype? Who needs that crap and its acceleration is slow. Supercars are way faster like ssc tuatara 295 to 300 mph 0-60 2.5 seconds and there are cars like koenigsegg that can drive 0-60 in 2.0 seconds. Tesla x goes 155mph 0-60 in 3.8 seconds its slow and dumb.

i wonder how this compares to the Porsche Taycan GTS? i cant see using the model x with a roof rack for anything outdoorsy. also, when it rains, all the water will fall into the seats when you open the door. also the rear bucket seats are not very comfy for long drives and do not recline.
You can put your palm on that entire touch panel on the right of the yoke to activate the horn. It's easier. They pushed that in an update.

Activating some as simple as the horn shouldn't be rocket science. It should be intuitive.

First Model X Plaid review that I have watched. I’m fairly certain that this is going to a an absolute sick driving experience.

The rich kid at my school got a model s plaid for his first car.
You can activate the horn by covering all buttons on the right with your hand so you don't have to touch just the horn button.

Ordered this in midnight silver and beige interior. It's the Plaid version with 22 inch rims and full self driving. Wonder what my monthly payment will be, lol. Oh well, I think it's worth and will enjoy it especially when I put it on auto pilot going to Vegas. That yoke steering will make me think I'm on a jet.
Its probably the best daily driver out there! Would be so cool to tow ur sports or musclecar to the track with this beast
I can think of better things to tow than a sports car.....such as a pop up camper to do some decent traveling. Towing a muscle car with a Tesla is riding two bicycles down the road to show off. The Tesla has proven it will beat most anything street legal and then some on the racetrack Impressive is being able to tow jet-skis, camper, or other practical needs down the road with little or no effort.

Remember when entering the highway, unless you are in a plaid anything, use the merge lane to accelerate to highway speed so everyone behind you can also merge without slowing the highway to a crawl. There's always one idiot who tries to merge into 75MPH traffic at 50, or lower, and gets mad at everyone else because it causes a traffic nightmare.

Cause they've designed it to be ahead of its time. ICE cars still looking dated even when new. Tesla will age very well in years to come.

@@NassimSYD and one major thing is future proof with built in hardware on their cars, just software updates to make them better. ICE cars needs many options ticked, adding cost of purchase and by 12 months or so it's old tech.

Awesome video.. I have the exact car black color, , white interior , 22 wheels except not plaid and it’s already ridiculously fast. I can’t imagine how fast this is!!! Love it!! Yoke steering did take some time to get used too..

I own the 2020 Model X Ludicrous, the first non-minivan I can get my wheelchair ♿️ into with no disassembly or folding! 0-60 in 2.6 so only 1/10th of a second less! I have to sulk around with only 870hp, but given I have to steer with one hand (with the other on the hand controls) I’m super glad *NOT* to have the refreshed X which I considered waiting for…I get 7 seats, *a normal horn* and a regular steering wheel 😅

Can’t wait for my mx to arrive. I have a s plaid and liked the yoke at first but now hate it in city driving. I hope they come up with an affordable de attachable wheel or I will somehow make my own. Great review, nice video and awesome to be the first!

I thoroughly enjoyed it, just a little constructive criticism: figure out the audio normalization, sometimes between your cuts the audio jumps either very high or go substantially low where I have to adjust the volume on my display. Other than that keeps the good work!

I like everything about the new model x and s, except from the steering wheel and how go into drive. I really hope Tesla gives an option for a round steering wheel and a normal shifter.
Thanks much for the video. The most detailed one on X, I have seen in youtube. Can you please show a picture/video of your back seats folded (2nd row and 3rd row) . I am not able to picturize the cargo space with this 6 seat configurations. The second row also looks a bucket seat and seems to create problem with folding it. Thanks much. Keep up the good work.

I would say it handles just as good as urus and cayenne gt with same tires depending on situation.
I don't think this hulking package handles as well as a cayenne Tbh
@@AMogus-jr6qk nothing will handle the same cause every car is different. That said it doesn't mean it handles worse in any way. Tesla upgraded everything it has torque vectoring, suspension is actively adjusting both compression and rebound and many more features. Best thing to do is testing both.

@@AMogus-jr6qk compensation? The tesla literally has advantage cause that extra weight is in the bottom. And it's barely 550 pounds heavier that's nothing. Weight doesn't matter much in modern cars if it's placed nicely. Lot of times heavier cars are faster. Just look at supercars there are supercars that are 600 pound heavier from other supercars yet they have same handling as lighter ones. It's not all in kerb weight there's so much going on with weight placement, weight distribution and more.

I also have got a Model X plaid and the only complain I had was the horn but after the update where if you press the touch sensitive areas on all at the the same time it honks.

On the waitlist for the plaid x, compared to the changes coming to the model y 2022 would you still recommend the x for two people who camp out a lot and spend time on road trips and outdoors?
When does yours come in? Mine is August, 7 seater but I heard they are calling people saying you have to change to a 6
@@bradburnett6997 mine is March! I have the 5 seater, I probably won't do the six-seater because the captain seats don't come down so camping is going to be very difficult.... Cargo space comes down too

love space x we traveled to Boca Chica to see the starship get built. & we got the S dual motor fsd last Christmas 🎄 😎 still have the cybertruck tri motor or 4 motor fsd on order, i got lots of solar & backup battery system to charge them both. i have tsla too.
Parker how did you get your hands on this vehicle before anyone else? Lol
I have the Model X P100D , 2018. Indeed the navigation system is like no other car it works almost flawlessly. I have driven a Model S before I bought the Model X. The "problem" that I currently have is more of a luxury problem. If I buy a new model X or S the car outside looks almost the same so you dont have the feeling that you bought a new car. With the model X the Fallcon doors are also not really handy in europe in small garages. So will I buy a new tesla and that is the real problem they have their fair share of issues but to be honest every other EV car is years behind with navigation and such so it is bloody difficult if you experienced a tesla for many years to sit in an Audi as you have the feeling that you go years back based on the car electronics.

The range difference isn’t that big of a difference between a long range with 20 inch and plaid with 20 inch wheels. It’s why I decided to choose the plaid, but instead with 22 inch wheels. Reason for doing so is you can buy the 20 inch wheels online for about 3 grand, so if I ever really need that range for the road-trip, I plan to just change the wheels. Other than that 311 is still good with the supercharger network. My EDD is June 30 to July 6th 2022, once I take delivery I will let you guys know how it is in the replies. Really great review, thank you for it!

Hi Max, big fan here, I used to ride a ZX12R before my kids, love your work. I'm getting a MXP in April, and yes, it's half a second quicker that the ZX12R, cannot get my head around that!

No, but it wont be defeated by a manhole cover.
Most motorcycles have a hard time breaking that 3 seconds to 60 barrier due to not being able to keep the front end down. So yes this is in fact faster than pretty much any production motorcycle to 60 🙂
@@slargo83 but most motorcycles will pull hard towards 250-280 km/h before the 300 km/h limiter hits. you can’t compare a car vs bike, the bike wins in acceleration and feeling all day long. any 100-200 km/h pulls and EVs can’t keep up.
i test drove a Polestar 2 and i lost so hard vs my friend’s old MT-10 with ~150hp that cost less than €7000.
i’m not saying a Plaid isn’t quick, but they cost a small fortune or 50% of a brand new apartment where i live. Bikes for acceleration (i have a 2017 Ninja 636) and fun, my workhorse i3S is for A-B or when i need to carry people or luggage. best compromise i could do 😁

I own a 2017 Model X 75 kwh. Msrp was $111,000. 7 passenger option, premium stereo $2500, Led fog lights $1500, 19 kw on board charger $1500, FSD $5000, . I own this X, a model 3, and a Porsche Panamera 4 S. The X’s suspension and handling better than Panamera. Plus Panamera appears slow vs X. We have 50,000 Miles’s only maintenance were tires. Never been to a service center. Totally dependable and reliable. Will buy another. Love charging at home. Save $500/month on gas and home electricity as I own solar panels. EV’s are the future.
