There are two optional characters to recruit in Final Fantasy 7. The first of which we will be working on today - Yuffie! This mystery Ninja is quite easy to pursuade but can be a nuisance if you don't know the correct way to do so.
As a bonus, I will also show you how you can upgrade her starting weapon immediately! The Boomerang is a great item to grab so don't miss it!

I was grinding and randomly found yuffie. I was so confused but she was a pretty good party member
Since Yuffie is encountered in forests, she may even be encountered in the small island where KOTR Materia is
This forest is where I limit farm. Those root like sonsabitches with their grand spark on a character with fury builds limits like mad. Usually can get level 3 in a few hours.
I was going to say the say thing. I use it for early ap, Gil, limit farming. I have most acquirable character at that point limits breaks up to 3 before I ever go to fort condor or junon

The Formula enemy makes a reference to Japan's Military. "Blue Impulse" is the name of Japan's high performance fighter jet demonstration team. I learned that from Aero Wings for the Dreamcast! I loved that game.

So strange that 25 years ago yuffie was this random character you can easily miss that got her own DLC in ffvii remake integrade

I usually wait until this point to grind for limit breaks, I may get Cloud and Arieth's earlier.
I also swear it helps to save the game and reset every few battles helps you encounter her faster
All of the weapon drops... Based on what I've seen so far, if you are a consistent thief, you can manage to be the best equipped team without ever having to spend on new weapons in the stores...
Yeah And LATE-GAME Bosses Have Some Of The RAREST BEST STUFF You Can Steal Too. The TURKS, For One.
easiest way I’ve always found Yuffie was there’s a corner just north of Junon
its a patch of trees She’s always hiding there
it’s near the crater you find Ultimate weapon just sitting there in the air

Saw this video maybe an hour or two ago just finished cosmo canyon and decided “hey let’s go grind and try to find yuffie” low and behold she pops up as soon as I reached the grass
Just played this game for the first time. (Been working my way through the whole ff series) and when i saw Yuffie for the first time, i literally said "Hey Yuffie from Kingdom Hearts is in this?!"

Play The PSX(PS1) One! Definitely Superior If You Ask Me.
I enjoyed playing FF9 from the PS4 store, with the new quick cheats. The x3 speed cheat is awesome for revisiting nostalgia without the time constraint of waking around large maps and grinding through levels. So I recommend that.
The original ff7 is way better, if that’s what you’re asking..

I just found out for the first time that you could get Yuffie this early on accident.
I prefer to get Yuffie much later, then again I prefer her to Cait Sith..
Even VINCENT Is Better Than Cait Sith He's Basically A "Weaker Aeris". When I Did FF7 And Did The Aeris Glitch To Keep Aeris, I Replaced Cait Sith With HER At The END.
After Aerith, cait sith is the best mage character. Yuffie kinda sux, except for source farming, shes useless

Her weapons early on have few materia slots and lots of unconected slots making her magic selection pretty awful when giving her more then a single target spell user. her defence and HP are crap,and her limit breaks dont get useful until her final lv.4 limit break. Honestly Red 13 surpasses her in everyway (except for source farming). Yuffie is a situational character

Yuffie 4 and 6 limit is a excelent attack.
And yuffie have the best last weapon in the game. Damage is increased depend of enemy level. (Emerald weapon for example)

Some forest are better than others to get yuffie. There's one just outside of the mines that does have a higher encounter rate then the others but also the closer to her home town the higher the encounter rate is also

Yeah..redmario isnt correct in the unlimited points. Ive thought about that before and tried. It only records the points once, so even if yuffie runs away, and you go through the correct answers after finding her again, the pt values do NOT stack. The only way to get yuffie on the date is to basically shun barret, tifa and aerith throughout the game
They STACK Up To 30 With THIS ALONE So YES YOU CAN Say All The Correct Answers Until You Get The Option To "Let's Hurry" Or "Ask Her Name" And Then Find Her Again Again And Again!
Can you encounter yuffie at any point through the game if you've not already ? I've just finished up at the mansion where you find the Odin materia.
Maybe yes. You can check on google. I found a good walkthrough there. Without it, i wont have any idea where to use steal, get enemy skill, and stuff.

Many People Don't Find Yuffie Too Useful, She Is One Of The BEST Characters You Can Use Specially With Some Of Her Limit Breaks! That AND She Is A Full-Long-Range Fighter. Like I Said If Your Trying To Get HER At The Date Sequence Is Simple: Just Lower PTS For ALL OTHER Characters And Get PTS With Her, And You Can Infinitely Increase Hers By Choosing All The Right Options For Recruiting Her UP UNTIL You Get The Option To Ask Her Name. You Can Do That Again Again And Again As Your Finding Her Again And Again But Her PTS For THIS ALONE Caps At Like 40(I Could Be Wrong It Might Be 30 Or So). Like I Said That Was How I Got Her At The Date Sequence. The Boomerang Is A NICE Upgrade For Her At This Point Up Until The Shinra Boat Where You Get A Double Growth Weapon For Her. Also, You CAN Speak To Your Party Members Whilst On The Field Where You Defeated Yuffie If You Wanted To See Their Dialogues Towards Her, No Penalty For Doing That.
Why would you take the time to make every single word start with a capital letter. It makes the comment harder to read and just wastes your time.
And if theyre using her final limit break, theyre wrong.. they should use her lv3 lb which have 10-15hits. I forgot 😂

@@BuangSaColon THAT'S CORRECT, Her FINAL WEAPON(Which Is Her "Conformer"(FOUND IN The "Sunken Gelnika")) DOES DAMAGE BASED ON The "Enemy's Level" And IS The ONE WEAPON IN The GAME That DOESN'T Suffer From "Split-Damage" When You USE "Morph" With It. I "Explained" This "Recently" In MY "Final Fantasy VII" Stream Not Too Long Ago When I Picked It Up Before Battling The "Turks"(Reno And Rude) On Disc 2(AND STEALING Their "Items" As Well). So Yeah, Yuffie's "Conformer" Is REALLY GOOD For "Morphing" Enemies.

I still pronounced it the wrong way, almost out of spite at this point in my life. Same with Tifa, pronounced like the start of the name Tiffany.
Thats another one that makes my ears want to bleed. Ive been pronouncing Yuffie the correct way as Youffie since the game was released, same with Tifa, Teefa. Im glad Ive been pronouncing it the right way but it still makes my skin crawl when people insist on saying it the wrong way. Its like pronouncing Cloud as Clo uhd, Barret as barrette. At least with Vincent and Cid theres never a discrepancy.

Its tough though when we didn't have voice acting back in the day to tell us how words or names we've never seen or heard are supposed to be pronounced.
While on topic, I've heard chocobo pronounced all sorts of ways, the worst one being cock-a-boo....yuck. I still have a tendency at saying shocobo, with the accent emphasis on the second syllable, like sho-CO-bo. I know, judge me hard.....

The forest right next to the small one you were grinding at is better to encounter her at. I get the encounter within 5-10 fights. And it’s not a bad encounter rate (RNG) to get her. Compared to FFXII AND FFIV RNG/Drop Rates the is a cake walk lol 😂

I'm wondering, after the kalm skip, before entering junon, is Yuffie still able to spawn, while you dont have the phs? I probably played around 60-100 battles without her showing up there just now.
Usually just takes me 20-40 battles in this area if I am unlucky
Maybe can only find her after you exited the mine and youre in junon area. Thats probably the earliest way to get her.

she is in the forest before Cosmo, where you find the frogs etc. or she is around Rocket town.

You can, but waiting for that reason is not needed. You have to follow specific steps to have Yuffie chosen over the other three, it won't happen by accident. If you mess up the Best Bromance trophy then it will be because you Tifa or Aerith, not Yuffie.
