    Ive had these tires on my 20 F250 for about 7k miles. I believe the load E and stiffer sidewall benefits a heavier truck like 1/2 tons - 1 tons vs your jeep. I am liking this tire slightly better than my Ridge grapplers. Good review Thanks.

    I am on my second set of these Yokohama Geolandar X-A/T 37X13.50X17. I run mine on the road at 35psi. My first set went over 52k miles.

    I just upgraded to 295/70/17 tires with the stock black wheels. I am very happy. I didn’t know about the tazer device and changing the settings. The one things I want to enable is running daylights and maybe the tazer can help with that.

    Yes I have ko2 tyres on my work Ute and have the same problem, feathering on the outside .Just put geolander 003s on my jeep and they are quite stiff too.

    • @RoyFJ65
      @RoyFJ65 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For MT G003 you can reduce pressure with the chalk test and they are not stiff at all after that. Also wear correctly and grip well with right pressure.

    I drive by the Jeep plant in Toledo every Thursday; it’s pretty awesome seeing lines of factory-new Jeeps driving around that area. I’m seeing a lot of them equipped with Falken’s.

    How do they perform in the rain and on slick roads? I have the Geolandar MTs now and they're a little too temperamental when the rains hit.

    Curious how these xat tires are compared to the ko2 or toyo rt/ nitto ridges? Needing a new set on my 19 250. Currently running wildpeaks they have done pretty well for me but need something a little more aggressive for occasional mud performance without going to an mt.

    Great review! I've been considering the Geolandar X AT for my Jeep too but I'm concerned about the stiffness (The roads are terrible where I live). How would you compare them to the KO2s on stiffness and ride comfort?

    How would compare road noise to the Patagonia?

    • @4-LOW
      @4-LOW  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      About the same actually. The X-AT does hum on the highway, but it's not what I'd call loud. It's sort of pleasant.

    • @JustinCaseWages
      @JustinCaseWages 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@4-LOW Thanks! At first I had a weird loud harmonic from my Pats which made my Widlpeak AT3W sound like a highway tire. After correcting my out of toe alignment and putting 500+ miles more on the Pats the harmonic is gone and now it's just the hum like you describe. Not quiet but not loud and not unpleasant.

    • @4-LOW
      @4-LOW  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have 7,000 miles on a set of these and still running them daily. They've been fantastic in the rain and snow, and are smooth on the highway. They do pick up gravel pretty bad if you drive gravel roads. Pretty common for A/T tires. Overall these are really good tires.

  • @Daniel-pc1er

    Do you chalk your tires to get the perfect tread wear? That's how I find the perfect tire pressure for my Jeep ZJ. My psi on my tires ended up being even lower in the rear due to the lack of weight. I currently run 25 psi front and 22 psi rear.

    • @4-LOW
      @4-LOW  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have tried to chalk tires in the past, but what I found is that some tires are manufactured with a little more crown than others, so the chalk test can be misleading.

    • @stormtrooper_jeep_zj
      @stormtrooper_jeep_zj 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@4-LOW That's understandable. My front tires chalked out fine, but my rear still had crowning below 20 psi. I didn't want to run my rear tires under 20 psi so I chose 22 psi. I figure that the rear tires will correct themselves when I rotate them to the front. I rotate my tires after every oil change every 3,000 miles. I'm currently running Milestar Patagonia's and I love them.
