I just built a similar rig for my next gig using his Hesher preamp into the higher power, boosted with a Devil's Triad Essentials. Sounds killer. I'm considering getting a Grim because I like his pedals so much. Also atm I use my Higher Power with an 18v supply and that will also keep up with a band but the volume is set between 2-3 O'Clock.
Because of this video I just purchased the Higher Power and Titan pedals. Next is the Hersher v3 and Grim v3 for an all ThisHeavyEarth pedalboard rig! I’m more into modern tones and super low tunings so I need a more tight and modern tones with my baritones. Next I want to make a Lichtlaerm rig with the Medusa, Gehana, and King in Yellow. Wish he made a small power amp pedal as well but can just use the Higher Power.
@MaxPowersTastyTones What’s a good budget room mic so I can record guitar riffs/ideas or jam sessions instead of using my cellphone? Dont want to have to mic up a cab or use plugins plus I love the way a room mic recording sounds cuz it’s closest to the real tone in the room to me
@@MetalheadOv666 awesome! Thank you so much! I hope you used my affiliate link to save 5%. :-) Anyway, Lichtlærm has a new pedal power amp called the Pandora, you can see it on my instagram feed. It will be release at the end of October, probably. :-) To record ideas in the room I‘d take a good solution by Zoom. The H5 or H2N for example. :-) Thanks for watching, my friend!
@@MaxPowersTastyTones I would’ve used your link but I bought them off of Reverb. I’m going to order the new Impaler mid EQ pedal so when I do I’ll definitely use your link. Waiting to hear back from him on this pre amp he had like a year ago based from a Peavey.
@@MaxPowersTastyTones also that’s good to know about Lichtlaerm has a new power amp pedal. I just got the Higher Power today and it’s super loud! On the room mic I’m wanting something to put in the room to capture the room tone and plug to my interface straight to my DAW. I thought about the Zoom recorders but they’re expensive and not really what I’m wanting. Right now I only have a Shure 57 but thinking of getting one of those UA SD-7 modeling mics and wondering if one of those models is good for room mics?
Yeah it is 60 watts. Good for a loud oversize 2X12. And still hits decibels in the room that the stock 70 Watt per channel VH140C can muster. around 100+ decibels. You can get the FR60. Also the FR200 is coming this december 2024 hopefully. The FR60 comes with it's own power supply. And if you want a big discount i can sell you mine, i am trying to get the FR200 in december.
Huge sound with that small rig!
Cool little rig man!
@@SonicDriveStudio thanks for checking it out man! 🤘🏻🥰

Brooooooodal 🤟🏻
@@gerdhery thanks man! Much appreciated 🔥
Well, Death is probably one of my favorite death metal bands. Amon Amarth is up there and who doesn't like Hypocrisy?
@@NickySayahSina these are awesome bands! 🔥🔥🔥

Is that loud enough to play with drums?
@@Durkhead absolutely! It’s the same volume as I have with my tube heads in the rehearsal room and on stage. ☺️
