The Chug and the NATAS sound very similar. I think that with some tweaking someone could make them sound very similar. And the Chug is much cheaper.

Because of this video I just purchased the Higher Power and Titan pedals. Next is the Hersher v3 and Grim v3 for an all ThisHeavyEarth pedalboard rig! I’m more into modern tones and super low tunings so I need a more tight and modern tones with my baritones. Next I want to make a Lichtlaerm rig with the Medusa, Gehana, and King in Yellow. Wish he made a small power amp pedal as well but can just use the Higher Power.
@MaxPowersTastyTones What’s a good budget room mic so I can record guitar riffs/ideas or jam sessions instead of using my cellphone? Dont want to have to mic up a cab or use plugins plus I love the way a room mic recording sounds cuz it’s closest to the real tone in the room to me

@@MaxPowersTastyTones I would’ve used your link but I bought them off of Reverb. I’m going to order the new Impaler mid EQ pedal so when I do I’ll definitely use your link. Waiting to hear back from him on this pre amp he had like a year ago based from a Peavey.
@@MaxPowersTastyTones also that’s good to know about Lichtlaerm has a new power amp pedal. I just got the Higher Power today and it’s super loud! On the room mic I’m wanting something to put in the room to capture the room tone and plug to my interface straight to my DAW. I thought about the Zoom recorders but they’re expensive and not really what I’m wanting. Right now I only have a Shure 57 but thinking of getting one of those UA SD-7 modeling mics and wondering if one of those models is good for room mics?

EP for sure and probably the 2nd Fortin behind the Meshuggah amp. Since I’ll never be able to afford or would pay $6k+ for one I just got done modding a jet City jca20h and added a depth knob, negative feedback control knob, and a Fortin Meshuggah mod from Epic Amps and it sounds so brutal! Went from a dad rock amp to a tight, kind of dry, and brutal modded Marshall tone! Also only has two el84 power tubes which are tiny and going to do the octal mod to swap to el34s to get it even closer sounding to the Meshuggah amp. Plus it’ll be closer to 30w with more headroom. Anyone that has a Jet City amp I highly recommend checking out Epic Amps and their mods for all the Jet City amps. There’s probably 20 different mods to choose from.

I think pinch harmonics are a limitation of the NAGUS. While it is a great sounding pickup, it is very hard to get pinch harmonics on the guitar that I just got that has the NAGUS installed. I was actually going to ask if you had noticed it, but then you ended up covering it in the video.
