I like how Keaton has only hosted 3 times and they were 82, 92, and then here in 2015. He's gotten the chance to work with essentially 3 different generations of SNL cast members.
And now 2024. Another generation as well

Watching in 2023 These dreams came true once more.
This was, without a doubt, one of the best opening monologues SNL had in years. If not even one of the best ever, I'm dead serious this was hilarious. Bobby Moynihan dressed as Otho behind Fake Beetlejuice was the funniest shit ever hahah. I don't think all the sketches were funny but that opening monologue and the scientology spoof alone were worth it.
Don't forget the easter basket sketch.

I really like how Michael acts all oldschool and classy in this one, really looks sort of Cary Grant-esque or something. legendary actor, his works with Burton in big part shaped my cultural code when I was a kid, and I'm glad they did.

I've been a Michael Keaton fan since 1979. It is a collection of VHS , posters, books, and DVDs . He is my favorite batman! The only true torn batman /Bruce Wayne actor to show it on screen. Mr mom is top and dream team OMG. Love it! The squeeze movie he did I like. Touch and go. White noise made me sad. He is s very talented actor

Steve27775 Yes, I wondered that. It's not as if we could watch SNL on any channel in the UK, Without this, SNL is essentially a mystery. I think that the Wayne's World sketches, way back when, are the only ones that have actually been broadcast.

For all of you hating on Ben Affleck as Batman, you all did the same thing when Keaton was cast as Batman and look at what happened. He was great in it just like Ben is going to be if you gave him the chance.
instead of focusing on his bad movies, how about doing the great ones. Dazed and Confused, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Going All the Way, Good Will Hunting, Shakespeare in Love, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, The Sum of All Fears, Hollywoodland, The Town, State of Play, The Company Men, Smokin' Aces (even if he does get killed 30 minutes in), and no one better be hating on Phantoms!
Yes, Affleck has made some bad movies, but that doesn't make him a bad actor.
