The light falling over at the start made me realize how much I actually kinda miss the old [light goes out] [THUMP] thing from the early Midnight Screenings. It was jerry-rigged as shit, but I can't deny its charm. Ironically enjoyable seems like a notable step up from the usual Tyler Perry fare.
It's honestly a pretty amazing experience, especially coming off of the trailer and expecting a more typical revenge story. Because then you spend the whole movie wondering if you're supposed to think the husband actually isn't that bad a guy, waiting for the scene where he does something really heinous and him being equated to the devil and a conman actually makes sense.
Mike only punishes over minor mistakes. You could steal someone else's videos, he wouldn't care, but if you don't have time to talk to him at this exact moment, prepare to be in trouble!
Ehhhh, the woman that supported a grown unemployed man for years deserves millions...the 10 is debatable but if he’s now living comfortably, she undoubtedly deserves a nice cut.

I think Tyler Perry does this on purpose. He makes over-the-top, cheesy dramas for fun. I knew what I was walking into with this movie. I learned from Temptation. It was fun to watch. People walked out of the theatre I watched it in. I enjoyed the audience joking and laughing at it. 😅 Those green screen scenes did annoy me, though.

This movie was a masterful, brilliant , train wreck of a movie. I'm convinced Tyler Perry is trolling his audience to see how much he can get away with. Man you left out soooooo much. Like why he couldn't get a job after he graduated, how she got back on the boat. Not to mention he's inventing something that could essentially eliminate our dependence on fossil fuels , and hydroelectricity, he couldn't have tried at least one other company? Im sure G.E may have been interested. Man you need a part 2 review. This movie was a fucking loony toons cartoon.
I haven't seen the movie, but the implication seems to be that he invented an energy source that violates the first law of thermodynamics. If my assumption is correct, the price for the instance of the battery he built should be in the trillions, at the very least. And if it is a finite energy source, it's probably dealing with exotic forms of matter - again, the ramifications extend far beyond simple independence from fossil fuels.

The only reason the girl playing the younger Taraji P. Henson got the role is because that same girl (Ajiona Alexus) once before played a younger Taraji P. Henson on Empire. Not a terrible casting choice, but I do think the girl playing the younger version of Taraji's sister would've been better for young Taraji in this movie because she does look more like Taraji.
The mother gave the youngest sister the house along with the money, even though she said herself her mother thought she was immature. And she is still in school.

Question to Brad. If you havent seen TP's movies in the past (well, before you started seeing them for this) , how come you knew they were this bad? I mean, ok, I havent seen them either, and I obviously heard they are bad, but I am not doing a bit where I pull my tooth out just to avoid his movie lol.By the way, effect on that tooth gag was great, very convincing.
TheRealUcanUwill Those bits are well over 7 years old. I literally say in this video that I’ve seen a handful of his movies. You can even see me reviewing them in other Midnight Screenings.

You can buy some at a science store. That's where I buy my acid Sulfuric, Nitric, Hydrochloric, hydrogen peroxide...and all concentrated. The stuff that's hard to get are pre-cursor chemicals that are needed to make ilicit drugs, which is bad because the druggies ruined it all for the chemical nerds.
