It has to do with multiple takes and limited breaks.
Actors sometimes have to do multiple takes of a scene and if they drink every time, it could lead to having to pee during scenes.
They have designated times for bathroom breaks as well as food and drink breaks.
And that’s if it’s not alcohol.
I’m sure as much as the actor would like a drink, it wouldn’t help if the actor were drunk on set. That’s why they’ll usually set up fake alcohol and that’s the time you’ll usually see people actually drink. But I would imagine that would be right before the bathroom breaks.

I feel like if Tyler Perry was a bit (or a lot) better with writing, pacing, and tone, and embracing his insane characters and plots, you could compare him to Takeshi Miike. When I see one of your reviews or when I describe one of movies to somebody, I strangely think of him.

I'm beginning to agree with Dave. Purposely contracting yourself with several diseases would be better than seeing this movie.
The title is A Fall From Grace and the main character is named Grace. Hey where did that subtle brick come from and why did it hit me upside the head?

Wigs that change their style in the same scene
Boom microphones seen at the bottom of scenes
Man in the cafe eating plastic food and drinking air water
Judge with his script clearly seen on his podium during the court room scene.
Police officer who keeps handcuffing people then just leaving them to run off.
I’m sure there more, make it a drinking game to see how many gaffs you can find throughout the movie 🤣

2:45- Why must Tyler Perry film his movies in just short of a week? He did it in A Madea Halloween, and he's done it here. TAKE YOUR GODDAMN TIME, MAN!
8:17- All I see from Tyler Perry's character in this movie is if he were cast to play Perry White in the DC Extended Universe instead of Laurence Fishburne.

Annnnndddddd . . . . how do you take out a mortgage on someone else's HOUSE? If she did a Quit Claim Deed to add him to title, then show that. Otherwise. . . where's her SIGNATURE on the docs? Who signed the NOTE? Didn't they notice there was a GUY signing a WOMAN's name? Your Driver's License (or picture ID) is part of the loan package. Where? How? What state is this? Doesn't the spouse have to sign, regardless of who's on title? HOW did he get in title to her house??? I know, minor detail. But. . . it's so EASY to get it right. If you could do that in real life, people would be in public records and refinancing other people's houses! And if you found a way to do it, that's FRAUD. It's illegal. THIS IS NOT HOW MORTGAGES WORK! Just. . . one more thing that irritated me about this shoddy job.

    •  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

If you managed to watch this review all the way through, you'd know that this film takes place in Virginia, as stated during the courtroom scene. As for the rest of the questions, Tyler Perry doesn't know how mortgages work.

All theatrical films fall under this rule, but after watching this review, I'm left to wonder how not one person in this film that aren't the villians lack very basic common sense? Just look at the man he looks like a combination of Kid N Play & Jermaine Jackson his hair is a nightmare, he's younger than she is & some younger men tend to date older women for a reason.
