People are just now beginning to pay attention in the suburbs where I (I'm originally from a city) have many friends, and I'm literally seeing people switch sides as I watch. Trump will lose NONE of his base, but his base is about 12.8% of the total population. His soft supporters and independents, both of which he requires to actually win are fading from him - the trends have shown that consistently for months. Trends matter much more than snapshots.
