    He became more sincere with his studies, understood the importance of a brand, and realized what he doesn’t want in life.
    He figured that he likes stories and writing drives him during his two years in his college. From a blog to writing for news publications, Harsh gradually found his voice and figured out a gap in the Indian market; the dearth of relevant Indian brands and their business case studies. He talks about his journey in this video.
    How his father stopped talking to him after he left his stable Deloitte job and how XLRI united them together. He talks further about how we took up content marketing as his career choice and ended up writing his first book with CNBC.
    Tell us in the comments below if you liked the first part of the video. Do tell us if you have any suggestions that you want us to keep in mind or ask questions to Harsh that you want to be answered.

    Wow! his father seems horribly passive aggressive. Horrible human. Not talking to your son for 2 yrs just because someone else's son is going abroad. He should consider himself lucky to have a son like him.

    • @InsideIIMKonversations
      @InsideIIMKonversations  ปีที่แล้ว

      Do you think is it because of the communication gap that usually happens between a father and a son?

    • @SAUMYAGHILDIYAL
      @SAUMYAGHILDIYAL ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@InsideIIMKonversations I guess it's typical Indian mentality of putting parents on a pedestal like this guy is doing. For sure respect them and be grateful but such kind of behaviour should not be encouraged or revered like this guy is doing. That is a typical narcissistic trait exhibited by some Indian parents and is very unhealthy. Such behaviour should be called out. I hope he doesn't think it is okay and behave the same way with his children. Often children of narcissistic parents themselves consciously or subconsciously become like them. Had it been someone else in his place they would have simply not cared. He seems like a good human being. I wish him all the very best in his endeavours. So, no it is not because of communication gap. We have to accept that these people are broken since they are from a different generation and cannot be fixed. Don't let their criticism affect you. It is often a projection of their own insecurities and failures. Certainly not revere them or put them on pedestal. Maintain distance (whenever possible) and preserve your own peace of mind.
