3 cores showing up for these is correct. they share L2 or L3 cache and work in "nodes" basically meaning 2 weak cores per thingy and this has "3 thingy's". thingys = modules. modules = fpus this affects mostly things that need FPUs affecting things usually in floating points, its kinda complicated. I had an FX8320.
