Louis’ lyrics are also literary works of art. So deep and emotional. He’s a musical force of his own and has no reason to envy successes of former band mates.

I knew this album was going to be great, but i wasn't expecting it to be THAT GREAT! To be honest he's outdone himself. I'm just SO proud of him. This album is a masterpiece.
Right off the bat, i'm really fond of Holding on to heartache (THAT ONE HAS TO BE A SINGLE. I WANT THE WORLD TO HEAR IT. THIS is my FAV song he has ever written. The lyrics, his voice, the sound.....), Written all over your face, Silver Tongues, Common People, and That's the way love goes. I know the rest will grow on me (For example, the more I listen to Saturdays, Angels Fly, the greatest, the more I love them). There's not one song that I dislike, and that is SO rare for me.
Agreed generally. He writes about so many aspects about relationships with such nuance that we almost never hear. His lyrics are amazing.

Hearing all the different things Louis is doing with his voice make me so happy. We got a glimpse of it in One Direction and it always left me wanting for more. You had Zayn who could reach the highest notes and Liam who had the best technique, but it was always Louis' voice that got me emotional and made me genuinely /feel/ what he was singing. Not only the sad love songs, but also the flirty side of it. And now that he has full songs to himself he can properly show us all that he's capable of.
yes there are some oned songs that the louis' part steps out so much. his voice is so rare and delicated but he can also pull rock song reaaly nicely and i just dont know how he does it but in oned they really didnt explore his voice the way it should've happened and i feel so happy that he's feeling comfortable to do that right now
Agreed. Someone on TH-cam said his voice was like fresh lemon in a recipe, lifting all the other ingredients, and I think that's a good description.

This album is worth buying really.
let's make this album win awards, because it's definitely a powerful album. My favorite songs are: "Holding On To Headache" for showing her vulnerability and having such a sweet melody. And "Written All Over Your Face", simply because it's sexy and bold, like Louis Tomlinson, and because hearing him say "hey baby" in that husky voice is just what the world needs. That's why this song deserves to go viral and be a big hit.

I’m sure there are so many types of awards different channels are doing. Are you voting on ChannelRRadio daily? It’s where he already won Best Solo Artist and Best Album for the last one they did but have another going now. I think Disney Radio was another. If you know of any others please let me know :). I think That's The Way Love Goes was actually words that someone else told him to help him get over what he was going through and he turned that advice into a song for everyone to grow and heal with him. It's fs giving For the Brave with the best fucking song being the last one and shortest one making you want more, but also leaving you with this whole feeling of resolution in the album. This whole album is amazing, but TTWLG is a gem by itself AND in the context of the whole album. I love it

I don‘t know how Louis does it, this is another no skip album for me!! Every song is so different but so good! If I don‘t love it at first, it grows on me and then I suddenly fall in love with it while listening to it for the 10th time. I can‘t wait for the tour, I wish he could perform the whole album live!!

The most thoughtful commentary I've read on this album or on Louis generally, thank you, particularly the emotion in the vocals. I couldn't care less if he gets pitchy or cracked at the top of the vocal - I LOVE that in his voice.

Fitf was the best album that year. No one can change my mind. I'm so proud that I can say I heard him sing these songs live because they were absolutely written to be played live. I will never forget the feeling I had then. Edit, I wanted to add something: I really think he found his sound with this album, especially because he is so so connected to his fans and most of the songs were written to be sung to and danced to live, as I said. I'm so lucky to have him as an idol and role model solely because of the way he treats his fans and the people around him.

My favourite songs out of this albums are Lucky Again, All This Time and The Greatest. Bigger than me is also a great song. The rest are usual cosy QUALITY Louis music, but these four stuck in your head a little longer than the others. Lucky Again has such a great guitar sound, I love it so much, All This Time has major Royksopp vibes, and they're my fave band off electronic music genre)) The Greatest - new addition of amazing songs with "The Greatest" in their name or lyrics - Sia, Cat Power and now Louis)) Bigger Than Me is a great single, and has a very comforting yet anthemic sound, typical for Louis. I'm glad for his sound evolution, it's so rewarding to see how majority of the band's alumni that always had a "manufactured, teeneboppers pop" stigma come out with such a great music. They're not celebs, they're musicians and I'm loving that.

I don’t think Saturday is about romantic love, I think it was a different love it feels like a love of someone he knew for his whole life, I think it’s for Fizzy, how his heart is broken by her death but he won’t let it break him down at least this is the vibe it gives me.
