I have a 1985 Fender HSS MIJ Stratocaster made by FujiGen. I’ve had it since new and it’s one of the nicest guitars I’ve ever owned. I have US PRS that would go first if it came down to it. Mostly because my mother bought it for me, but I still play it and it sounds and plays fantastic! I’ve heard their current lineup compared to Suhr in quality but not as expensive.
Jon, so true FGN are great guitars. So many forget Fujigen made Strats and Tele's for Fender and so many other big name brands (i.e. Ibanez), and the Strats are as good as Fender USA Strats. Also, some years back I bought the Dignity Cool Z by FGN (a LP), and honestly it's the best LP I've ever played/owned, and I've owned many Gibsons (including CS). Excellent review!
Hi Jonathan, what a true classically created strat from FGN. The looks, sounds and tones were truly balanced and clear. Even upon hearing you play, I could tell that this was very well made. Who wouldn’t want a strat with this quality and price point. Cheers ✌️🎸💜
That’s a classy Strat. It has all the Strat tones you’ll ever need. I absolutely love that fretboard- gorgeous!!! Your intro as always just sublime. Cheers 😃👍❤️
Hi Jonathan, thanks for good music in intro, you get the best out of this Strat. Being a fan of Strats, I love the sounds of this one , sounds like my Fender American Vintage 62 that I fitted with BareKnuckles IrishTour pickups to have more body and output like the Rory Gallagher's strat. By the way , your piece of demo on position 3 sounded like the Rory Gallagher songs Out On The Western Plain that he played on his Martin D35. This FGN at USD900 is a bargain, my Fender costed me €1600 in 2012 (with mapple body and nitro finish 3 tones sunburst). I know I already wrote it in other comment but I'd love you to cover that Rory Gallagher song A Million Miles Away, his live version on his IrishTour 74 album. Cheers.
Hi Jon! I am currently living in Vietnam! I play the guitar since 2007 and I started watching your videos to learn more about japanese brands and guitars that are available in this side of the world! I wanted to ask you something: I was thinking of buying a Tom Morello signature stratocaster, but maybe it is better buying a better guitar and modding it with a luthier? (Adding a kill switch and the mic on the bridge that Morello has). Thanks for your advice!
Hi Jon, you seem to enjoy the BST model more than the EOS model despite EOS having superior parts and body. Could you share the differences (feel wise) between the 2 guitars? Are the neck shapes identical?
@@JonIsJustTooLoudAnd all the electronics & hardware are Japanese made or different? I’m really considering this guitar but torn between this and the J Standard!

That’s right!!
FGN makes some of the best guitars around. Ten years ago I bought a Expert Odyssey and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Yes

I think you should spend your time and money carefully and do ample research. If possible, try them out
What works for one person may not work for others

Hi Jon. For a nice traditional clean Strat sound which guitar would you recommend between FGN and Sire S7 and why ? Thanks 😊

The neck profile is almost identical. The BST has a more traditional feel compared to the EOS

Not really.. pretty close
