I often watch gear videos with a guitar in my hands and these days, instead of the Fender Strat I’ve sworn by (not at) for the last fifteen years, it’s a Jet JS 400 that floats my boat. Sure I can feel it’s roasted neck (!) but the real giveaway is the rounded neck joint that makes the Fender feel positively agricultural. I bought one of those purple Vintage Vibe Tele's from Anderton's a couple of years ago. I really like that guitar, but I tell you what, the stock strings were so bad I didn't like it at all at first. But a string change to what I like (Elixir 009) and it's been great. I wonder how much the stock (usually cheap) strings came into play. Pete didn't seem to mind them but I'm curious.
That would be a video I'd be curious to see. Various price points of guitars compared with stock strings and fresh ones.

TO GDR174: YEAH; I'M IN CANADA 🇨🇦 🍁- these Lee-Pete vignettes are fantastic!,- happy dudes having a happy time!, for Canadians who have family connections to England, we've heard tell of forbears who went to England in far unhappier times!, to visit very unhappy venues such as Dunkirk!, Dieppe!, and Normandy!-and yeah! Danish Pete's perpetual smile!, and killer chops complement Lee's enthusiastic "wailing" perfectly!- I pick up the ol' axe ^ try to follow a long! Rock-on Dudes!

I think a really interesting shootout would be to take 5-10 guitars of one type replace the pickups and strings in all of them to be high grade aftermarket matching pickups and good quality strings. Then set them up to have matching action and pickup heights. Then do the blindfold test where the guitar with its total price (instrument, pickups and setup) is shown. See how they rank. There could be one exception for the expensive guitars, if their pickups are more expensive than the aftermarket then they stay.

I could easily tell mine out of 10 strats, i got a prs silver sky, if you turn the volume halfway, u get sounds, fenders or anything else dont do. The silver sky is the best guitar ive ever played . Yea its expensive, but well worth it

Aria's main feature is push-pull engaging of middle pickup. That pickup is a game changer. And it is great guitar overall. The only thing I don't like is the color of the guitar back. It would be very nice that back color is same as neck (or a front), a little bit more discreet. Six color guitar is a little too much. Every part - different color: chrome hardware, red front, white pickguard, black middle pickup, roasted maple neck, creamy back...

I fully admit that the headstock shape has way more to do with how much I like a guitar than it should lol can’t help it. It’s like food, we eat with our eyes first.
