Caterham Academy Track Day - Oulton Park - Jan 24

After trying many different track cars over the years, and hating on Caterham drivers for NEVER moving over, I decided I needed a more back to basics driving experience. So bought a Caterham Academy car, which is a 1.6 Ford Duratec engine with 125BHP. After a fairly nasty crash on my first outing at Oulton Park in November, this day was perfect to get back in touch with track days, the new car and my new wrist steelwork.
Its a great experience, trying to be smooth, aware of the lack of power and looking for good lines. On the day, laptimes are around 2.02, which isnt very fast, so hopefully we can build confidence in the car and dip under 2 miutes, which is a quick lap in this spec of car.
