Well guys, this is fabulous to see what you discovered here. We are curious about ferry travel, as so many of the ships you see now have the décor, design and facilities familiar to cruise ship travellers. What a bargain! Nice vlog guys.
Hi! We are wanting to do this! When you returned to the ferry after the day in Amsterdam was it the same ferry you arrived on? Or did you have to take all your belongings off with you. Thanks.
@@abbierowlands3478 Hi thanks for the comment. You have the same cabin you arrive on so you can leave belongings in the cabin :) Hope you have a wonderful time
Did this trip 25 years ago and arrived in Amsterdam completely shagged out. Basically you're spending 66 pounds to spend 24 hours on a ferry and only six hours in Amsterdam which is not bad if you spend those six hours in cafe rock planet on Oudezijds Voorburgwal 👍
But if you've never spent overnight on a ferry that's all part of the experience so it's a bargain for two nights away. Its basically 66 pounds for two nights in a hotel and a day trip to Amsterdam. Good value
We are going iun September. Its now 98pp still cheap. Coach to Amsterdam included. In 2009 they did a 2 for 1 deal. Cost me 70 pound to take car to Zeebrugge!.
@@jacksdjfam mines 198 for 2. They dont do the 2 for 1 deal anymore when u took car which is a shame. It was great for tobacco from Belguim! Webt a few times. Now we gotta go on foot.
Believe it or not, despite living in Hull, we have never done this trip!! We have done the Bruges one but that route is no longer operated out of Hull which is a shame because Bruges Is lovely. Did you have to go to Amsterdam or could you stay in Rotterdam ? Already subscribed so cannot add to your subscriber count 😂
Hi Lynne and Paul, One of us is originally from near Hull and only found out about this late last year so thought we would give it a go. We added the shuttle to the booking to allow us to travel between the the Port and Amsterdam. There is another option to travel to Rotterdam instead of Amsterdam when booking under Rotterdam Mini Cruise :) Same port and boat different bus
@@AdventuresofJamesandLuke thanks - quite fancy Rotterdam. Pride of Hull looks like it has a bit more to offer than the Pride of Bruges did so might give it a go, in the summer though 😂. Great video by the way 👍🏼
I guess that as long as it's cheap then everyone will conveniently forget about P&O sacking all of their staff by SMS message, with no notice - then replacing them with cheap foreign labour, eh....? Screw P&O. I'd never set foot on their ferries.

Nice vlog guys.
Great video. I'm doing this next week for the first time.
Thanks Mark! You’ll have a great time!
Next time you go, just travel to Rotterdam. An amazing city with old and new, at least as interesting as Amsterdam (a tourist trap in my opinion).
We went to Rotterdam on a cruise with MSC ! Really amazing city!
We'll be releasing a video of our adventure there soon!

@@AdventuresofJamesandLuke amazing thank you so much 😊
Hi Guys, can you leave belongings in your cabin rather than taking them around Amsterdam?.
You certainly can if you’ve booked the mini cruise. You will have the same cabin each way.
Brill, thanks @@AdventuresofJamesandLuke

Still not bad considering the cost of everything at the moment! The weather should still be good in september too! Have a great time!
We're doing this in August. £101 each which i think is still a great price
