Well made video! I see many travel vloggers having many more subscribers than you, but they are not even close to the level this is on! Thanks! I’ve already been on this ferry once, but I found out more things I didn’t know existed! Thank you!
Thanks for the support. I went on a cruise once and only walked around all the ship on the last day, so have a rule to try and look around early as much as I can. Best Michael
Happpened to and I arrived later.travellled across from Hull more than 50 years started on the Bolton and Melrose Abbey. When they searched my car they took everything out.Used a dog to sniff around the car.I was 70 at the time a few years ago.A very rude and ignorant lot searched my car and left a mess in the boot. They must have thought I was taking drugs into Holland.First time ever being searched leaving Hull.
Hi, So I think all UK cars do need the deflectors. But I cannot be 100% on that. The company I used provide a clear guide as to how and where to stick them on to your lights. It is different with different makes of car and models. These are the videos and compNy that I used to help me. youtube.com/@hitchintv?si=Y4imnW38c8WqZNhO Hope that helped.
@ a couple of hours before you go,they usually advise you of that when you book. Ferries are not like planes..in terms of how close to leaving you can turn up.
Im going on there pride of rottendam this sunday in hull also its so funny you fell on the toe bar i hope your alright question what was the cabin number question 2 was it the pride of hull or rotterdam.
Hi, This journey was Pride of Hull. I came back on the Pride of Rotterdam, there is a separate video of this on the channel. Room number was 8196. Hope that helps. Have a fab trip.Michael
Hi Michael, do you know what these ferries are generally like in terms of travel sickness? Either your own experience, or if you know anyone who experiences this? Do people tend to get travel sick on these type of ferries? Thanks! Enjoyed the video!
Hi Daniel, My experience was that there was not a lot of roll on the ship, but there was no bad weather when I travelled. I am though someone, unlike many of my friends, who does not suffer motion sickness. I imagine in winter storms it can be somewhat different. I hope that helps. Michael
I have used this crossing for the past 24 years at least 3-4 times a year. They are large ships with stabilisers so are not so susceptible to poor weather - i've had more glass smooth crossings than bad ones. Just to be on the safe side, I have always taken Stugeron 15 travel sickness pills - one on arrival on board and one just before turning in - and can say that even when it was terrible weather I've never felt or been sick.
Hi Liam This was what I paid. I travelled with a mate (he is camera shy ). We didn’t share cabins. On the way out we had the nice one we had a cheaper version on the way home.Evening email was on top. Journey out 1 x Flexi: - £118.80 2 x The Kitchen Adult Breakfast - £23.40 2 x Club Cabin Double Bed 2 Bunk - £306.00 Journey Home 1 x Standard - £99.00 2 x The Kitchen Adult Breakfast - £23.40 2 x Standard Cabin 2 Bunk Inside - £196.00 Total - £766.60 Hope that helps. As there was two of us I paid half of the above. Which I thought was a good deal. Hope that helps Michael
