I've recently found Floor & Nightwish, no clue how I ever missed them, they are amazing AF!

I found them a few months ago, and my inner 14 yr old girl is still walking into walls and tripping over furniture. Having gibbering hysterics. I'm 57, and thought this sort of thing was long over with!

This, for me, is one of Nightwish's finest hours. Deep, dark, moody perfection.
The whole 2013 wacken performance by nightwish was a masterpiece.

The 16 song in the show ,after ghost love score and before last ride of the day , and feel the power in her voice.
This song had a little bit of everything in it!
This song is based on "Song of Myself" from "Leaves of Grass" by Walt Whitman. The original was on the Imaginarium album and was the 2nd album released while Anette Olzon was with the band. The original was probably 14 minutes long, as after the singing was all done, there were symphonic metal orchestrations and "narrations".
One of my favorites from Nightwish! Slow and heavy with soaring vocals...perfection.
I can't wait until you get to "Ghost River" and "Storytime" from this same concert. "Ever Dream" you have already reacted to, and those three songs were right in a row. My favorite set of all the concerts I've seen from Nightwish.

This is probably my favorite Nightwish song. The combination of Floor and Marco's voices. The combination of double kick and the choir. The breakdown. And not weird you hear Metallica in the second half. Tuomas has always been a huge fan of them.
"Body surfing" are referred to as "Offerings" (to the band) in Europe.

Greatest thing about it is that nobody can shout at you "You should have done the live one!" because there simply has not been a live performance for this one yet ;-)
Nightwish is so badass, they take a breakdown and turn it into a verse. (Or so I learned from Chase Carneson)

There's a legend how one Nightwish fan once saw Floor walking casually along a supermarket aisle and her hair was waving and flying without any wind, just like on stage and as Floor passed him he heard a weak divine sound of chimes and fell to his knees. ;)
Maybe you should wright Tuomas a letter and give him some ideas for his next song XD.

Nice reaction! This was the song that was immediately after GLS. Most of the lyrics for this song where taken from the lengthy poem 'Song of Myself' by the American Poet Laureate, Walt Whitman, circa 1892.

When I first saw this show I was tottaly blown away I had never heard night wish before I just couldn't believe what I was hearing that was 3 years ago and when I heard this song I don't think I've heard anything so melodic or so heavy this is my fav performance by this unbelievable band but that not to say I don't like the rest because I absolutely do and another great reaction by you guys when you become world famous and tour round the UK I will be getting a ticket good job guys you are so genuine and always look like your having a good time ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💥💥💥💥

I only watch and listen on Spotify the live registrations of Nightwish. They bring live so much more stagepresence and of course the pyro effects incorporated in the rythm of the songs.

But I wonder if you guys, being musicians, ever see something or hear something in these videos and think, "We've gotta do that!" Would seem hard not to, I'd think.
