I was given the fan as a gift. And I Absolutely love this fan .We have a queen size bed and I have it clamped on my side and my husband can feel it on his side...It works so well .And no harsh sounding noise.....
Just bought the Cool Mist today for 17.88$ at WalBarf. Charging it now. Learned my car' a/c will cost me $1100 to fix as the compressor went to hell after a $140 recharge, so they thought (compressor was shot even then). Seeing if this cheap fan can elevate some of the 100+ weather on my drive home til temperatures drop back down to the 80's. Just enough to make the 20mt drive home bearable.
I have one of these and I put strawberry flavored seltzer water in mine and now it smells like strawberries. I'm sure the seltzer is better for it than tap water due to lack of minerals to clog it up.
So I decided to purchase this. I want to see if it helps in the warehouse at work while I’m driving my forklift. Unfortunately, as soon as I turned it on it started making a clanking noise as if the blades are hitting something. It turns out if the water hole isn’t positioned at the top, it grinds. Ironic, considering the box advertises “360 degree any angle”. Not sure if my unit is just faulty or it’s a design flaw, but either way I’ll be returning it back to Flaw-Mart tomorrow.
I dropped my first Go Fan and the fan came out of the housing...If I had it facing down the fan would fall forward and hit the guard...I have to face it up and it will still work. Thanks for sharing your experience. Have a great day and stay safe.
Can you use this while charging? Meaning could you take it on the go with a battery pack which you could connect via usb so you never run out of battery
Just bought one and came here to find out more. I don't think I would have bought it knowing the mist was so limited. Or that battery life was so short on higher settings. Got it now and will see how it goes. I'm wondering if it can't stay plugged in when in use? Also, that blue light? If used in a bedroom, who needs that extra light. TY for the review.
I didn't notice any moisture on the table...there was some on the fan cover...my guess would be the rest gets absorbed in thee air. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
@@alaashakko5954 I thought that may be the case. If you've already checked the battery (sometimes there is a plastic piece between the battery and connector) if that's not the case sounds like a return/exchange to me. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I got this fan for traveling. I have the mister fan but I'm not going to use any water with it. My fan base was in pieces in the box. I could not figure out how to put it together, so I just put the little metal bar in and held it together with duct tape and a rubber band! The first time I charged it up it charged up in about 2 hours. Then it was in the box for about 6 weeks. I'm trying to charge it up, but it's taking hours and hours and hours. It does run, but the red light has not turned off. So I have actually not been able to use it yet. Update - - when I turned the on switch on, then the blue light turned on. But if I turn the switch off and put the charger in, it goes back to red again. The phone runs, but this is confusing and I'm not sure if it's fully charged. I don't want to leave the charger in for several more hours because I don't want to damage the battery.
Great, informative video! Could you keep the fan plugged in so that it operates without a time limit, such as overnight? Or is that not advisable for safety reasons?
Well after some short research and some short trials it can run while plugged in whether it has a battery in it or not but I'd take the battery out for safety reasons just in case
This one isn't for me but I have the first go fan. I use it in my craft room and it keeps me from getting too hot as I do any crafting. Very important even with the air running. Thanks for this review though.
That was a what the heck for me as well. I found this video and after he stated how to pop the top, I was on. Disappointing tho to hear only 3hrs run time on medium setting, with a 3hr charge time. But then, I can do that once home and before heading to bed.

That's awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Lol I may just try that.
@@museluvr I wouldn't try it with other liquids. Mine leaks now so I need to get another fan. I tried gluing it but it still leaks.

They work wonderful to keep my animals cool when I leave
That's a great idea. Thanks for sharing.
Just makes it more humid with the water
Correct. The added water adds humidity to the room. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍

Yes you can use it when it's plugged in. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
This fan is so cool 😎.
I see what you did there. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
I'll need that one 4 my kid bunkbed, the hot air rises! 2 bad they don't make more colors like pink
I think they only make the one color...Thanks for taking the time to comment!
I kinda thought you had it upside down. I use it in my car cause my AC went out.

I too was disappointed with the amount of mist...if you can even call it that...Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Have a great day and stay safe!
Yes you can leave it plugged in ..
Does the mist get absorbed into the air, or does it fall and get your table all wet?
I didn't notice any moisture on the table...there was some on the fan cover...my guess would be the rest gets absorbed in thee air. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Hello friend how are you doing?
Do anyone know why my fan keep shutting off if it not plug in
Does it come a little bit charged out of the box?
It's easier to cool down dry air, than it is humid air, I don't get any of these, it actually has the reverse effect of what you want LOL
I would have liked a little more mist...otherwise this was just a regular fan...lol. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
In dry areas (i'm in the desert) it evaporates instantly and that's what causes the cooling.
How much air does it move
It's just a little fan...I'm sure not a lot of air but it gets the job done.
Hi jeff excellent video review thank you! So clear!
Happy to help! Thanks for taking the time to comment.
My mister isn't misting ! Fan works great
Were you in a room with ac while testing?
No, AC turned off during the test. Check out 7:45. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
No lights goes on when I charge it 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Did it charge? My thoughts would be if the lights didn't come on then maybe it's not charging.

Once I removed the battery and returned to its place, the blue light worked on and fan worked for a while then turned off.

Can you run it while it changes
Yes it can run when it is charging. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I got the cool most and it seems to leak. I put one bottle of water in it and the mister button won’t turn off.

SOMEBODY PLEASE ANSWER THIS QUESTION WE NEED ANSWERS PLEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAASSSSSEEE

Yes it can run plugged in. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
Andy Elliott - great research!
Yes you can leave it plugged in ,I run mine 24/7
Esta perron y es recargable la pila está muy bien
Mine broke very quickly
That is frustrating, thanks for sharing. Hopefully you can exchange or return it.

In my opinion the mist function wasn't worth the upgrade. Thanks for sharing your experience with the original go fan.
The one thing I wanted to see you did not show in the video. How do you get the top off that water container? Not a user-friendly product at all.
The little bottle? sorry about that. I just pulled it to one side and it popped off. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
@@Jeffreviews4u Yeah, the little bottle, that was the hardest thing about the product. However, I finally figured it out. Thank you for the video.

I bought the go fan but I was disappointed as I tried to use it in my car so I would not have to turn on my ac when parked
The little fan is powerful but pushing around warm air isn't very comfortable. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
just imagine if you put ice water in the fan It would be much cooler.
...but for how long - lol. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I have 3 of the mist go fans. Love them
Thanks for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.
It worked one night and not worked today 😔😔😔😔😔😔
sounds like it's being returned...lol...thanks for sharing your experience.
I always heard that a fan don't cool a room it only cools the person sitting in front of it
I agree with that...they claim that it can lower the temperature up to 10 degrees...I didn't notice that. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
I have the new one. It is ok
Thanks for sharing. Have a great day and stay safe.
Nice
