Good stuff! This is nicely put together, and I was honored to have a couple of my cars in the B-roll. Keep up the nice work.

Love this. Maybe you can do a continuation video on the RL (until production stop)? It kept being a Legend outside the US, but I am guessing you would know.

You can briefly see the mid 90's Legend in the latest Transformers movie

Had a 93 Coupe in black with a tan interior. Loved that thing, and I still think the design holds up well. Was really disappointed with Acura from '96 on.

Great video! I loved that second generation Legend coupe but instead opted for a 1996 Honda Prelude VTEC (last year in the fourth generation), which I still own today as a second car. I agree that Acura and really Honda in general really lost much of their innovation and styling after the 1990s. However, recently have seen some glimpse of hope and enough to compel me into owning a 2023 Acura RDX A-Spec which best in class IMO

I had a 1992 4-door Acura Legend, and it was a great car. I really wanted the 2-door coupe as it was the best looking. Honda really destroyed the brand in the mid-90's when they introduced the 3.5RL. Very bland and looked like everything else. Nice video.

I had a '99 RL3.5. Other than it's desire to chug premium like a frat boy at a kegger, a great car. A magnificent highway cruiser.
Though the original owner had kept up on maintenance it reached a point where I had to either choose dumping a bunch of cash into a lot of little repairs and likely a new paint job, or move on.

I've had 6 honda legend ka9 (Same as the Acura 3.5rl) in the UK. The best car I've ever owned. I still have one and I love the build quality , the space inside and the relaxed drive. I've had an e class mercedes and a jaguar and for me there is no comparison. I'm looking for a decent lexus ls400 as I've not had one.

Mazda moment was fun 😄 I think rwd and maybe v8, would have made 2nd gen Acura unbeatable for Lexus, and even a bigger threat for German cars.

I had an 87 Legend Coupe and loved it. It was the 5 sad but one day it just stopped working and wouldn't turn on anymore.

Had an 89 Honda Legend Coupe (Because they were originally badged the Honda Legends). Only issue with these cars at the time were they would develop a heavy valve tap once you hit 100,000 miles or less. Coupe was & still is a beautiful car

I Believe the Big Crime with Gen 2 Legends was lack of a Rumored 3.8Liter V8 in 1992, But Also Never had a VTEC V6, Honda a Type 2 VTEC V6 in 93 Pushing 250hp Tops 265hp Similar to a 2002 TL Type S just 90° J32, If Acura Build a VTEC 90° V6 265hp Legend GS 14.8 Second 1/4 Car top speed of 152 That Near the 500E and M5 Level, But 230hp 15.5 Quarter Miles 144 Top Speed, So a TL S well Do

Honda / Acura just lost their way - trading innovative, outstanding engineering and styling for branding. This is why they started doing alpha-numeric model names. It was a bad move to draw a customer to a brand instead of the product - which, by the mid 1990s, was being value engineered badly. Motorist's tastes change and (sadly) everyone wants electric crossovers now. Hopefully someone out there will innovate that personality and quirky charm (like the 5-Cylinder Vigor) into the next era of motoring. If electric is truly the future, SOMEONE has to do it. Until then I'll have the Legend GS coupe with the 6-speed manual, thank you.
