Thanks so much once again Liz for a wonderful video, full of information and very inspiring! I am in a lull at the moment and am rewatching all of your videos to help me get going again!. Wishing you all the best for 2023.
Thanks Susan yes I think they can be really helpful because you are looking in different directions and yet still reflecting aspects of the place. There’s also a looseness to them that is refreshing. I cover this in detail on my online course : lizackerley.podia.com/your-sketchbook-journey
You are welcome Anna - Yes! Getting out is so important and as you know for me personally I need to draw and make studies outside because it’s my connection with the experience.
Such a great way to really connect with the landscape. Thanks for sharing these and for giving us, through your course on sketchbooks, a way of understanding and relating to our surroundings.
Hi MirandaIm glad you enjoyed the video and thank you for your lovely comments about the course. Our explorations about the subjects we love are never ending!
Yes charcoal is messy but it can be fixed and I like to use a variety of different media to capture a subject because that way you can capture more- they have different strengths .
Sigh... Your instructional videos always remind my creative muse to breathe 💕🙏🏼💕
Glad they are useful!
Your TH-cam videos act as bonus units adding to your course because they have the same generousity and ideas. Thank you Liz.

I like you comment on composition being too conventional. I think it is a good point and something for me to remember.
I am glad that you found the video helpful. I think we always have to push ourselves to somehow exaggerate!
So intense very inspiring 🌺❤️😁
Thanks Tina

Wonderful inspiring video as always, Liz. Thank you.
Thanks Judy I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Brilliant studies. I like charcoal, but it is so messy. I find pencil smudges in time, and is bad enough. Leaving the white paper enhances your work.
